Chapter 47: Abducted by Zed

Venessa was done dolling herself up in less than an hour and was ready to head out to the bus stop. She waited for over ten minutes but there wasn't any bus heading in her direction and since she was running late she reluctantly booked an Uber.

 Since the bar was not far from her street the Uber was not expensive but it was still more than what Venessa budgeted to spend the day because a bus would have been way cheaper.

 The Uber driver parked in front of the bar, and she alighted from the Uber after paying the driver. It was not a high-end bar and was commonly used by the middle class. She was a few minutes late as the time was 6:15 pm. She hoped her client was not pissed because he complained about being kept waiting.

 Lilac: I just got to the location. Where are you?

 Zed: 6:15 pm

 Lilac: sorry about that ran into some issues on my way here.

 Zed: Okay, I am waiting in the bar.
