I slowly start to wake up to the beeping of my alarm clock i open my eyes and turn to the clock and tap the snooze button and try to fall back asleep but before I can even close my eyes a pillow is thrown at my head
"dont you dare try and fall back asleep ward!"

the thing about my mother is that she is very inpatient it also doesn't help that she's as stubborn as a bull, one time she was stuck in traffic so she took the longer way because she thought it would be quicker... i was 3 hours late to school that day...
"okay okay I'm getting up, I'm getting up" I say with a laugh
"oh yeah, can you pick me up after rugby?" I shout to my mum
"no I'm working, ask to leave you home after hes done work " she shouts back
Tom is my mums "friend" who is my english teacher hes pretty nice until you either dont do a homework or you dont do the schoolwork but other than that hes a nice lad
"I'm getting a shower" I shout to her
"well hurry up because we are leaving after I make my coffee" she shouts back
I sigh knowing well that it will take her about 10 minutes to try and work out how to work the new coffee machine
I walk over to the bathroom and jump in the shower I do my normal routine
I'm just about finished when theres a knock at the door
"you done?" my younger brother Wilbur asks
"yeah just finished" I say as I start to tie a towel around my... lower half
I go over to the door and unlock it to see my little brother looking like hes about to burst run into the bathroom and head to the toilet
I move away so that I cant see what hes doing
and head to my room and start to get dressed
for school I get my shirt and my red and navy tie on I put a navy jumper over that and then I put my blue blazer on I get my trousers on. I look myself up and down in the mirror my brown hair, my grey eyes, my when I hear my mum shout "wade I'm leaving in 2 minutes"
I scramble to get my things together I grab my books my phone and ear buds and I put them all in my dads old bag when but that's when time stops and a prompt comes into my vision

without even thinking I press yes and I start running with my shoes in one hand and my bag on my back I run into the kitchen and grab my bottle from the fridge and grab a apple for breakfast
I open the door to see my mum opening the car door
"lock the door" she says and tosses me the keys I lock the door behind me and I put them in my bag and get in the car
"oh sh*t I forgot my rugby stuff" I shout realising mistakes but my mum just keeps on driving and says "I'll drop them in for you when i pass by the school with Will" she say
we get to the bus stop with the bus just coming in too
I drop down besides my best friend toby who was playing on his phone
"hey wade" he says not looking away from his game
"hey toby, you do the math homework" I say knowing the answer
"sh*t, I forgot about it can I copy yours?" he asks hopefully
"nope" I say seeing the hope leave his soul
"unless.." I say with a smirk " you get me a packet of gummy snakes"
"fine..." he says with a sigh "now give me that homework" I begrudgingly get my bag out and start to look in but all I can see in the bag is darkness I hesitantly poke and prode the bag to see If anything wrong with it I place my hand into the darkness and start to think that all my stuff has gone when all the content of my bag comes out of the bag theres a shout of surprise and a yelp from beside me
"you didn't need to pour out your whole bag" toby said who had been to busy to try and find his workbook hadn't see my whole bag get emptied by... itself?
"well I'm so sorry that I'm not up to your great so so great standards" I sarcastically picking up all my thing and putting them in my "bag"
when I put them in the bag didn't even get heavier it was like all of my books were as light as a feather
I tried to put my hand in the darkness again to try and see if I could make it only shoot out one item
I put my and and then remember that I still had to eat my apple
I started to pull my hand out and my apple is in my hand?!? is that how it works?!? with thought
I try again with the single thought of my math homework
and surprise surprise my math homework is in my hand
"oh thanks" Toby says snatching the homework to copy off of
"hey toby.."I say think off my strange dream that I had last night
"yeah ward?" he says writing down the answer of a question
"did you have a strange dream last night?"
"err yeah why?"

"I dont remember much but I do remember that I was in this room with a vending machine that had symbols? I'm not sure what they were why?" he asks as he looks back up at me
"erm... because I had that dream too" I say
"wait really? that's so cool isn't that like rare or what ever" he says abit to loudly because some people started to look up at us
"look what you did prick" I whisper angrily
"well didn't mean to be that loud" he whispers back
"well have you finished?"I ask
"finished what? oh the homework yeah here"he says passing me my work back
I put it in my bag that had been left in between my feet I start inspecting the bag to see if theres any sign that its fake
"oh we are here" toby says with a start I look up and see our school building it's a new school that was made last year
we walk up to the entrance and i overhear a conversation
"wait you had the same dream?" a girl that I think her name is grace
"yeah.. its pretty weird" a boy who I dont recognize says back
but i couldn't catch what else was said because toby started to pull me on
we enter the school and see our school name and its badge the name of the school is Chamber high and the badge is of 2 guns overlapping
"come on ward we going to be late!" toby says pulling me along
"well come on then" I say as I start to run past him
"come on man, you know that your faster than me it's not fair" he says as he tries to catch up but I was already to far ahead
but then suddenly *bang* I knock into someone
"oh sorry I didn't mean to..." I say but I'm cut of when I'm met with one of the most prettiest faces I've ever saw and I'm not even over reacting... well mabye a little
I look around us and see that alot of book had been scattered and then back up to meet the eyes of emeralds the girl
"sorry again I wasnt looking"i say again as I start to pick up some of the books
"no no it's okay I wasnt looking to"she says softly
"you dont need to apologise..." I say looking for her name
"rebecca" she answers
"well here's your books rebecca"i say as I hand her her books that's when the bell for the first period rings
"oh shit" I say as I start to run as the halls start to fill up with students who were looking for there next class
I sigh knowing that I was going to be late for the first class of the day so I started running
