Chapter 217: Anticipation

"Oh? Vasari, what a surprise to see you here." 

Vasari looked up and spotted Scarlet Glowflare walking towards him with a soft smile on her gorgeous face.

"I should be saying that to you. I did not think a bar like this was your type of place." Vasari replied before offering her a seat.

"Thank you. It's not, but I saw you from outside and wanted to chat with you." Scarlet graciously accepted Vasari's offer and sat opposite him at the small table.

"What would you like to chat about?"

"I'm not sure. Anything, I guess; I just wanted to talk." Scarlet honestly admitted to Vasari. So, they spent the morning chatting away until noon. Eventually, they had lunch together and continued discussing their Disciple Conferences. They also shared their views on cultivation for some time.

It was only when Talia and the girls finished their shopping that Vasari and Scarlet ended their conversation, which felt more like an impromptu date than anything else.
