Chapter 39: End of laurent chapter
The door of Edward's room opened suddenly.
They both looked to the direction, to see the king , Katherina, the Queen and some guards.
"Why have you liberated the prisoner" said Salomon displeased
Edward released a huge sigh of irritation.
He gave the something to the king and the king took it, it was a letter.
"Can you please read it , father" said Edward
He opened the letter and started to read it , when he finished , he closed the letter.
"What's the meaning of all these" he said lifting and shaking the letter.
"Father, it's exactly what you read"
"Laurent wrote this letter, saying that April has nothing to do with this, that he wanted to use her , so that he can take the throne. They had a deal together, he help her to pay the drugs of her father and in exchange she will help him with his plan but April refused and to get rid of her since she refuse , he planned all these " explained the king
Everybody eyes got widely opened , April the most.
{ What's is this all about, laurent couldn't write it} thought Katherina Stunned
"It's not my wife that is a betrayer but your own best friend " said Edward
"Laurent is capable of everything but he can't betray me" Said the king with confidence
"It's his hand writing right? He's not in his mansion, he ran " said Edward
The king looked back at the letter. He looked disappointed.
After few minutes of silence
"I'm sorry April, I was totally blind" apologies the king
"No, no , your majesty it's nothing " she said, shaking her hands feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable.
The king smiled and turned to the door to get out followed by the queen, Katherina stood there for a moment , confused . She wasn't understanding why Sir Laurent wrote such letter, on the other way she was released that he didn't mention her name . She finally went out also leaving the couple there.
"Who wrote that letter? " Asked April confused too
"I just said it, it's Sir Laurent "
"It can't be him"
"I have help him a little " he said with a malicious smile " I gave him the ideas of all those words, just like an instructor " he added still with that smile
April just shook her head with a smile
"Why?"
"You didn't want that people know about that story for your father, so I decided to invent another story " said Edward
"Thank you!" She said with a smile.
{ He's the best thing that I could have in my life} thought April
"He left the kingdom? Forever? For where? " Asked April
"Yes , he better stay forever and I don't care " Said Edward indifferently

The next morning
Things was as if nothing happened, preparations for the marriage was going on.
April was doing well, her sibling and father came and visit her, April was so happy . She thank Prisca for what she did and Prisca felt proud, for the first time she felt useful to her sister.
Finally the chapter of Sir laurent has ended and They could live better. Edward decided that her entire family will leave this kingdom for another to have a better existence. April thank him again for all he has already done for them.

Lady Katherina was very thoughtful, where has Laurent gone to? Why happened? About this stupid marriage.
"Kath? "
"Huh?" She came back
"You look elsewhere " said Emerald
"No, nothing " she said with a fake smile
"It's the marriage of Edward?"
"No, I have turned the page and he look happy with ..... her" said Katherina
"So fast ?"
"What's the problem Emerald, you wanted that I forget him , it's done" Said Katherina with fake bright smile
Emerald hugged her , when they were hugging the smile of Katherina immediately fainted and she had that mischievous face.
