Chapter 23: He had your posters in his room!

"What are YOU doing here!?" Aiden asked angrily as he stood up and looked at the three people standing before him. They were Maya, Sophia and..... Liam.

"Oh! Brother Aiden I hope you do not mind it, we had met Mr. Liam earlier and it also seemed as if sister was familiar with him, so I invited him over to join us for dinner." Sofia who was originally the matchmaker in between the two of them suddenly didn't mind bringing another third wheel man, the reason was... because he was good looking!

Aiden looked at Maya with doubt as if asking her if she knew Liam. Maya understood what he was asking and replied, "Oh are you asking about Mr. Moore? I had seen him earlier in the lobby and thought hard about it, then it came to my mind where I had met him before. I think he was your friend that time as well, right?" It seemed as if Maya had remembered everything from few years ago.

Soon all four of them were sitting together on the same dinner table.

Maya was quietly going through the menu, Sofia and Liam were chattering and getting to know about each other. Meanwhile Aiden was sulking alone in the corner, he didn't know whether he should be happy because Maya had finally remembered him or whether he should feel jealous that she remembered him because of his friend!

But, the thing that was bothering him the most was the fact that even after remembering him, it felt as if Maya was not even a bit happy about it, but instead it was like she was feeling a lot more sad. It was clearly visible in her still eyes.

Thankfully the table was not quite as there was constant chatter because of Liam and Sophia.

Suddenly Sofia asked Liam, "You are Brother Aiden's friend, right? So tell me how do you guys know my sister?"

Liam thought a bit about it and answered, "All three of us had accidentally met together about six to seven years ago in a filming studio. Your sister had a shoot with some new rising star that time if I am not wrong. The director of the their shoot was a bit arrogant and was about to slap the new guy, but Aiden had stopped him. That's why your sister had personally come to thank Aiden."

"So you guys are also from the entertainment industry? But I don't think so I have seen you in any movies or shows, maybe your main focus was modeling? If not why were you guys were at the filming site?" Sofia asked.

"Well, I was never interested in all this but he was. So I used to follow him around." Liam looked at Aiden and said. Liam was still angry at Aiden for making him leave without any explanation so he decided to spill the beans. He continued, "But he was not interested in going to shoots, he only got himself in there because of the girl he had a crush on."

"Ohhh! Who was it!?" Sofia exclaimed.

Now even Maya was interested in listening to the complete story, she also started looking at Liam with great interest waiting for him to complete his sentence. Aiden had not yet woken up from the things that were bothering him, soon, he looked at Liam so as to stop him but, it was too late; Liam had already looked at Maya and confirmed her doubts. "It was Maya of course!"

*Gasp* "Really?! Brother Aiden, is it true that you have liked my sister for so long?" Both Sofia and Maya were looking at him as Sofia asked him and Maya was looking at him with her surprised expression.

"Ummm...." before Aiden could explain himself, Liam continued, "Yes it's true! In fact during those days Maya had a lot of fans you know! Aiden even had your poster in his room!"

*pfft hahahaha!*

Both Sofia and Liam started laughing hard.

Aiden wished he could dig up a hole right there and die. How should he face Maya now? What if she starts to see him as just another weird fanboy!?

"Tell me more!!" Sofia could just not wait for more gossip.

"During that time, Aiden also had a shoot for some advertisement but his part-time make up artist said that she won't be coming anymore! I was furious and went to tell Aiden, your sister also happened to be there so she said that she can thank Aiden for helping that new guy by doing his makeup!"

It was time for Maya also, even she felt a bit embarrassed now as her cheeks turned red.

"Omg brother Aiden! How was the experience of that? hahaha!" Sofia was having the best time of her life.

"He had basically turned into a tomato! hahaha! Who knew helping some random guy could create so many chances for Aiden!!"

"I know, right! Who was that lucky charm Maya? Brother Aiden? Do you guys remember?"

All of a sudden, Maya who's mood had just gotten better started to feel suffocating. She stood up and looked at the rest of them while saying, "Of course I can't remember... It was so long ago! I am heading out for some fresh air, you guys continue." Then she headed to the terrace.

Aiden seemed to have understood her feelings as she left, he decided to follow her.

I was a windy night. Maya was standing on the terrace with her hands clasping the guardrails. Her long hair was flowing with the wind as she was staring aimlessly.

"What are you thinking about?" Suddenly a calm voice came from behind her.

She looked back at him and said, "I am just wondering how and why did we end up like this.... I mean I had met you, as well as Lucas on the same day and everything ended up like this. Would everything have been different if I had been with you, Aiden?
