Chapter 123: Her mother could make it happen.

It was not hard to guess who it might be. In this house, if anyone could bang her door and barge in rashly, and that too at such late hours, it was none other than her mother, Eli. 

"Ella!" She had already known that she would have to face this, after today's failure.

Her mother might look like a 'happy-go-lucky' person who always smiled and spoke in a high pitched voice, but she would lose her mind if things did not go according to her plan. 

Ella wore a sad smile and responded with, "Yes ... Mom?" 

Ella only wished that, for once, her mother would not point out at her for not being able to do something. For once, if she would just sit down and have a talk with her.

"Wouldn't it be so good if..." She whispered as she heard the closing sound of the door.
