Chapter 2: 2 Rebirth
A warm feeling that pricks my skin made me want to open my eyes.
Why I can still feel something? I attempt to open my eyes and to my surprise I successfully do it!
The first thing that I saw is an exquisite pattern in the ceiling, I roamed my eyes into an unfamiliar place. The room shouts elegance in every corner. I turn to my right, and I see a bright ray of sun sneaking in the floor-to-ceiling transparent door which sent me a warm feeling earlier. I noticed that when it's been unlocked, it will lead you to a balcony that has a small table and a chair on one left side.
I wandered my eyes again and caught the four-poster bed where I lay in. It's a king-size bed which is been decorated beautifully, the color violet curtain that ties beautifully in the four posts of the bed added to its elegance.
What happened? Am I alive? I tried to get up, and as soon as I do that I felt dizzy, I reach for my head and lean on the headboard. There are so many questions that run my mind.
The cold feeling that I had before is been replaced by a warm feeling now, indicating that my heart is pumping blood normally and that my organs are okay, I check my vital signs. An elated feeling swells in my heart after I finished it.
I can't believe it! My heartbeat is normally the same as my respiratory rate but how? I died already after my heart stops beating.
Did God take pity on me? Am I having a second life? Are those rebirth novels are true?.
I can't understand what's going on, but I can't also deny the happiness that I felt.
A knock on the door caught my attention and a middle-aged man open the door. He suddenly stops when he sees me. His eyes get bigger and his lips fall apart from each other. His suit looks like the one whose the butler wears in the movie that I watched.
"My prince. I am glad that you are awake now!" He exclaimed and run towards me " Are you feeling okay?" "I should inform the royal family about it! They are really worried about you. Please wait a moment" the man excitedly told me and then walks away heading towards the door.
Prince? Did that man said my, Prince? My eyebrows furrowed. So I am a prince in this lifetime? My gaze looks down and on what I am wearing right now, surprisingly what I wear is really like those prince characters in the films.
I wears a plain white long sleeves shirt that has a ruffle design in the neck area. There is like a black satin cloth tied to my waist which I thinks serves like a belt, and the black pants match my princely attire.
I completely rise from the bed and look for a mirror. I found it hanging on the left side wall of the room. I started to walk only to stumble and fall on my second step. "What's going on? It looks like the body of the original prince is too weak that his muscle is not working properly. Tsk. Even sleeping beauty did not have this kind of muscle weakness, and that girl sleeps for 100 years. Just how long the original prince sleeps?
I tried to get back on my feet when the door slammed and make a loud noise.
