The Crimson Chain Caravan

It was just another day for me, lazying about doing nothing besides watching TV and playing games. I was having the time of my life, unfortunately, unbeknownst to me, that was all about to end.
Just as I was reaching for the remote to change the channel a strange light surrounded me. It was so bright that I had to close my eyes, a few seconds later when I opened them there was only one thought on my mind.
‘No fucking way.’
Somehow, I had been teleported into a void of darkness and a white silver screen with gold highlights appeared before me. As soon as I noticed the screen, a disembodied voice that sounded both male and female echoed around me.
