Chapter 24: The Much Need it Equipment
Pass the door that once stood there, the cave continues till it leads into a larger cave. Mors even though he is some distance away, can see the mountains of gold and treasures that are in that cave. But as he takes a single step forward, he bends down on his knees. His arms holding his stomach.
His stomach is in heavy pain as it demands food. Mors was very familiar with this feeling, it is starvation.
" Holy shit…for how long was my breakthrough?"
While Mors had no way of knowing, a total of 4 weeks went by while he was breaking through. Mors could not hold himself any longer as he summons some wolf meat from his ring and started to cook it. But the smell of the slow cook fire made things worse for him.
The urge to just bite the half cook piece of meat was great, but Mors control himself by biting his lower lips. Tasting the iron taste of blood in his mouth calms down his hunger somewhat. After the wolf meat finally got cooked, Mors started to eat it at lightning speed. The piece of meat was gone in less than 5 minutes. But it was not enough as Mors cooks another piece of meat.
After eating 4 pieces of wolf meat, Mors sighs in relief as he pats his stomach. But the next problem was worse, he felt how dry his throat was and the massive headache he was suffering.
"Shit! Extreme thirst as well!?"
Mors curses as he leaves the cave and goes towards the small stream from before. After arriving there, he gets down on his knees as he started to drink water straight from the spring, not having time to form a cup with his hands. After drinking water for 10 minutes, Mors stood up and started to walk back to the cave, now that all of his body needs are taken care of.
As he steps back into the cave, it was completely dark. Just like before, once he reaches the halfway mark, the small white lights appear once again. But this time, there was no door to greet him at the end. But a large cave full of treasures.
Mors takes a step into this treasure cave, his eyes widen as he looks around. There are mountains upon mountains of gold, weapons, and armor that cover every inch of this cave. Mors could not help but chuckle at all of this wealth.
"Well Well, if I can get some [legendary] equipment from this, I will be set for a long time! With all of this gold, It should carry me through the early game"
Mors said as he remembers the ranking for artifact equipment from the game, from weakest to strongest. [Common], [Rare], [Legendary], [Mythical], [Primordial]. While in the early game, gold is one of the main currencies most cultivators use. But as the game goes on, spirit crystals become the main form of currency or exchanging goods of equal value. Thankfully this [Storage Ring] can hold a large number of things. But seeing how much treasure there is here, he might need an extra ring. His current ring for all the artifacts and the other ring for all the gold.
After spending 500 fate points to buy a new ring, Mors started to store all the gold into it. Taking him 5 minutes to store all of this gold. A soft smile on his face as he looks at shining treasures left on the floor. Mors spend another 20 minutes looking at each of these artifacts, putting any [Rare] or [Common] artifact into his old ring. After all of this only four artifacts are left in front of Mors,
One of them is a sword with a deep red color blade, the handle of the sword is black as the abyss. The head of a dragon acts as the butt of the handle. The bloody aura coming from this sword will make normal people scared or think it's curse. But for Mors, it just looks cool as he holds the sword in his hand. He could feel the aura of the sword enter his body, slowly spreading into his every being.
But as the bloody aura enters his mind, it instantly dispels as Mors strong mind could not be easily corrupted.

Mors smiles as he looks at the second treasure. A long beautiful traditional Chinese dress like his old [Golden Spider Hafu]. But the color of this dress is deep red like the sword, with the traditional image of a demon ingrain into the dress in black silk. The edges of this dress are decorated with golden silk. Thankfully it doesn't have the same aura as the sword, because if it did, he would start to suspect Ausar might be edgy or evil.
"But why would he have a Chinese dress if he is middle eastern?....well at least this will help me blend in"
Mors said as he took a second to think about his name.
"I thought this will be the VR version of the game.. but now that I kind of confirm is a whole new world. My Latin name will stand out. I hope the people can pronounce It correctly"
As he shakes his head, to ignored such useless thoughts. Mors checks the dress in his hands.

As Mor's smiles grow, even more, as he looks at the third treasure. A long spear made from black metal, a small tassel made from golden silks hang where the blade and the metal body meet. The Spear has a long pointy blade, very simple. But even if the spear looks simple, Mors could feel great power coming from it. As he holds the spear in his hand and checks it.

"ahahha~ now looks like I need to learn another spear martial art that doesn't break the spear. I don't want this baby to get damaged"
Mors said, with all of these artifacts, he is more than happy. Making him proud that he gain War's legacy. These artifacts will help him so much when it comes to fighting and hunting.
"I just need to make sure I don't get this stolen or lose them. I might need to join a sect to protect me for the early game. With my stats, I can easily roleplay as a genius and gain a ton of support, resources, and protection."
Mors spoke out loud about the problems that might come with having this many good artifacts. Even back on earth, small things could ignite the jealousy and greed of countless people. Imagine how much worse things will be in this world with demigods walking the earth. Soon Mors eyes land on the last artifact. A simple completely black color mask, with designing that look very similar to the black lines Mors has in his body and face.
Mors picks up this mask as he looks at it.

Mors smiles as he looks at his four legendary artifacts. Ausar sure was loaded with good stuff. Mors stored the weapons in his ring as he puts on the [Greater Blood Fiend Dress]. The dress nicely fits his body, feeling both strong to the touch but also light for simple and flexible movement. With the [Soulless Black Mask] in his hand, Mors puts in on. Now the only thing visible from his face is his deep brown eyes.
Mors walks out of the cave, looking at the blue sky for a few seconds. His feet soon start to move towards the city he once saw, at the start of his journey. Of course, he could not forget to spend 500 points on his main three stats, and 250 on his sword stat. Now the cap on stat for Warrior stage was 200 if he remembers correctly
