Chapter 13: I Hate You...
Everyone rush towards Alexa to pick her up but Reo again shows cold shoulder towards her. Sasha was close to Alexa thus quickly grabs her and helps her to sit on the nearby chair. She tries to twist Alexa's ankle but she screams out in pain. "I think it's a muscle catch. Terry get the spray from my bag" Sasha turns towards Terry and asks him to help her with the spray while pulling Alexa's track a bit up. Reo was getting irritated at the other end to see her grabbing everyone's attention.
Sasha applies spray and wrap the bandage on Alexa's leg. She was able to stand now without any support. Before Sasha could speak further was interrupted by Reo.
"If this drama is over then let's call it a end for today and you...Can't you do these simple steps without bothering everyone." Reo speaks out in lousy voice pointing at Alexa.
She suddenly feels bad after hearing Reo's words and rush towards the exit without giving a second thought. Before she could realize, her eyes were full with tears and started rolling out on her checks. She halts the nearby cab and requests him to drive her to the hotel.
Sasha on the other hand screams at Reo for this behavior and tries to contact Alexa but she was not picking up her phone. "Reo you better check on her, she is not picking up her phone." Sasha screams at Reo.
After hearing Sasha, Reo heads out and starts his car heading towards Alexa's hotel.
Alexa was still crying and was least bothered about her phone which was ringing continuously.
Sasha knew that Alexa will head back to the Hotel, thus she tries calling Chen. After few rings Chen picks up the call.
"Hello Chen. Sasha this side. I need you help."
"Hi Sasha...How can I help you?"
"Actually there was a small accident at set and Alexa got her ankle twisted and same time was scolded by boss. She left the set in tears and is not answering my phone. I am sure she is heading back to hotel. Could you please check on her. I have to rush to airport to pick my mom else must have followed her."
"What...ohh...no problem...I am in the hotel right now. I will wait for her at the entrance. Thank you for filling me up with the details. You don't worry, I will take care of her."
Chen hangs up his phone and walks out of his room. He was about to reach to the elevator when sees Alexa opening her room. He rush towards her and holds her from her waist giving her support to stand as could see she was in great pain due to her leg injury.
"Are you ok?" Chen asks Alexa in low concerned voice. To which Alexa nods negatively.
He takes away the key from her, opens the door and walks her inside the room. Chen and Alexa was so busy in discussion that they didn't realize someone was watching them.
Yeah it was Reo who was following Alexa from the time she had entered the Hotel and was about to hold her when saw her struggling to stand straight while opening the door but stood back after seeing Chen approaching her. He was fuming in anger but this time not because of Alexa but because of Chen.
He had a past with Chen (**Not any romantic one though :p). They use to share a very friendly bond during their school and college days but Diana who was Reo's first crush have rejected his proposal due to her interest in Chen. It was purely a misunderstanding. Chen was actually trying to help his friend to get Diana but she mistook Chen's approach and proposed him. Chen did rejected her and tried to sort out the difference between Reo and him but was in vain as Reo had disconnected all his contacts with Chen by then and later they never contacted each other.
Reo was in mixed feeling after seeing Chen infront of him after so many years. He walks towards the room and sees Alexa sitting on the bed while Chen kneeling below and trying to take off the bandage from her ankle.
"God Alexa, your ankle is all blue. Are you sure of not going to hospital" Chen asks Alexa in concerned voice while still checking her wound.
"Yeah, it's just twisted. I will apply some spray and wrap the bandage, which will be fine" Alexa replies back.
"So, I was correct about you Ms. Alexa. You actually have boys support everywhere you go. Terry in studio and then Chen in Hotel." Reo speaks up while walking inside the room and staring at Alexa.
"Mr. Reo" Alexa tries to get up after seeing Reo in her room.
"Alexa, watch out" Chen was shocked to see Reo infront of him after so many years but holds up Alexa who was about to fall due to the pain.
"Aren't you tired of acting Ms. Alexa" Reo speaks up in weird tone (Actually he was getting irritated of Chen presence and moreover his hand on Alexa's waist).
Alexa looks up at Reo with tears in her eyes and speaks up while clearing her throat "Mr. Reo, what wrong have I done to you for you to think so low of me."
Those were very simple words but Reo found it too difficult to understand. This was the first time he felt disgusting about himself.
*Cough* Reo clears his throat and speak out again. "Mr. Chen, thank you for taking care of Ms. Alexa. It's my hotel and I can let one of my staff to take care of her further. Please proceed to your room."
Chen didn't wanted to leave Alexa but he could clearly see Reo's interest in Alexa. He knew about Reo, he was one of the type who will not show his interest or love towards the others so easily and thus people usually call him different, although he still have a huge fan following.
Chen turns towards Alexa and speaks to her while seeing her directly in her eyes. "Take care of yourself, if you need anything I am just a call ahead". He says and then leaves the room without turning back.
Reo picks up his phone and was about to dial the hotel manager number when sees Alexa loosing her consciousness. He throws his phone and quickly runs towards Alexa and holds her in his arms.
"Alexa...Alexa...Stay with me..." She could see Reo's face turning all white in panic and him screaming her name.
She tries to hold his face thinking it as a dream but soon passes out.
Reo calls out the manager and orders him to get someone to check Alexa.
After 2 hours.
Alexa opens her eyes and stares at the ceiling of the room. It was different from her hotel room. She tries to get up in hurry but finds her hand held by someone. She turns at her right side to see who is it and gets shocked.
It was Reo and yeah she was in his house.
"Sissy...you finally woke up...Daddy see Sissy is up" Zoe rush towards Alexa and jumps on the bed while giving Alexa a hug.
Reo wakes up with Zoe's voice and releases Alexa's hand at the same time.
"Ms. Alexa, you still have fever. I think it's because of the injury, please have this soup and then your medicine." Maya places the tray on the bed side table next to Alexa.
"Thank you so much Maya for taking care of me and for the soup. I think I am fine now, I should head back to my hotel" Alexa speaks up while trying to get down from the bed.
"You can stay here Ms. Alexa, as Zoe needs you. He was requesting to be with you from very longer time, now that you are here and Zoe is still not up from his fever. I will ask someone to get your stuff here, stay here with Zoe during your stay in NY." Reo speaks up in a demanding voice without looking at Alexa and walks out of the room.
"But...Mr. Reo" Alexa couldn't complete her sentence as Reo was already out of the room.
"Yayyyy...Sissy is going to stay with me...Maya I am so happy" Zoe screams out in happiness while giving another hug and kiss to Alexa.
"Alright Zoe...Alexa needs rest...Lets have your dinner and then you can come back to chit chat with your Sissy...Is that ok???" Maya pulls out Zoe's from bed and then walks him towards the door while speaking with Alexa "Have this soup, I will be back after feeding Zoe to help you in changing your clothes as your leg is swollen badly".
Alexa couldn't speak anything but just smiles back at Maya as it was too much for her to digest.
Reo on the other hand was still standing at the door and was listening to their conversation. Their was a sweet smile on his face after what Zoe said. The moment he hears Zoe and Maya walking towards the door he rush himself towards the sofa and grabs a seat.
