Chapter 298: Kraesos - The Land of the Leaf Giants

Juin was curious about these Kraesos and Leaf Giants. "What do the books say? Are they really giants?"

He glanced at Eranos and thought to himself, 'He doesn't look like a giant. I mean, he's tall and bigger than us, but is that the definition of a giant?' 

Luca thought for a while as he tried to pull out the information from the back of his mind. After a moment of silence, he said, "There were actually a few versions. Both the consensus view was that there were two real possibilities. The first version was that, due to political strife, the Leaf Giants split into two factions and the internal war eventually destroyed the entire world. The other version was that the Leaf Giants were attacked by greedy foreign enemies, who arrived at Kraesos through the portals."

"Are there a lot of portals here?"
