Chapter 47: The Promise To Return
Everyone had promised to return. Mother had promised to return. Father had promised to return. But, what of me? Trelawney wondered as she was still fainted, but she was mentally having a conversation with herself. "What will I do?" Trelawney shouted within her mindscape. A giggle was heard and Trelawney was alarmed. "What's going on? Who's there?" She asked inside of her mindscape.
"What's going on? Who's there?" A voice mocked her. "You are pathetic! Having to be adopted by a half-mage and a Demon, a Demon King to be exact!" The voice shouted at Trelawney. Trelawney felt both angered and threatened.
"Who the hell are you?! Show yourself!" She shouted in anger. The voice then showed her appreciation for Trelawney showing her bravery towards her by appearing in front of her. What Trelawney had seen had shocked herself. Trelawney was staring at herself in Devil Super Mage form. She couldn't keep the fear away in her voice. "Why?" She questioned herself. Devil Super Mage Trelawney just smirked at Trelawney and didn't answer. She knew that Trelawney had a feeling why she appeared. My weakness. Trelawney thought. She knew that this evil Trelawney appeared because of the green blood and the fact that she subconsciously thinks she is still weak.
"I'm your stronger self. Just use me and you can kill any enemy of yours." Devil Super Mage Trelawney tells Trelawney, who panicked at using her evil self to kill anyone, even her opponents.
"No, I won't use you! I won't! I'll get stronger with my own power!" Trelawney declared to Devil Super Mage Trelawney, who merely smirked at her good self's declaration.
"You will use me, one day. I will leave you alone, but you will use me and that's a fact." She warns Trelawney, before she disappeared. Trelawney whimpered when Devil Super Mage Trelawney had disappeared. She couldn't believe that her weakness created an evil version of her. She never wanted to see that side of her ever again.
Everyone was going to change after these four years. Trelawney had decided. She knew that everyone was going to get stronger. She knew that her parents wanted to spar with her when they returned. Trelawney perked up at the thought of her parents returning. She promised that she would get stronger too and she was getting stronger.
She was going to prove that she could be the best adopted daughter that Yu and Dai had.
