Chapter 42: Yu (Part 1)
During her very first day with training with Elder Aku, Yu was feeling the harshness of the training with her frail body. She was so used to training and fighting with her Lightning Maxina form that her actual body was very weak. "Come on, Yu! Give me one hundred push-ups!" With Elder Aku's harsh orders, Yu was putting her body into hard work mode. She resisted the urge to cry as her body burned with pain. Her body ached, but she persisted with the training. After she was done with the push-ups, she fainted due to the burning pain. Elder Aku felt bad for Yu, but it had to be done as her body isn't in any shape to any wield the Sword of the Angel with her own half and half strength because her powers were sealed.
When Yu regained her consciousness, Elder Aku started to teach her about her normal strength and what he expected of her. "That's all for today?" She asked when Elder Aku stopped speaking. He turned to gaze at her.
"Yes, that's all, but it's up to you to figure out how to spend your free time." Elder Aku advised Yu. Yu really wanted to sleep, but she knew that she had to test her endurance for tomorrow's training. She started to do push-ups and sit-ups to test her endurance. As she did this, she thought that Elder Aku wasn't watching, but he was. She's starting off on the right tracks. He thought, excited. He didn't know that Yu was going to train on her free time as he trained people who slept during their free time. Yu wasn't like the rest of his apprentices as she wasn't a Demi-Goddess. He was proud of his only living newest apprentice.
Throughout the weeks and months, Yu started to build up very strong endurance of her own strength and the weather. She was glad at this as she gazed at her muscles. They were lean, but she could still tell that they existed. Because of the push-ups and the sit-ups, she had a four pack growing on her abdomen. "It has been four months, haven't it?" Yu asked Elder Aku after a training session that had just ended.
"Yes, so that means you can start trying to break the seal I've placed on you." Elder Aku gave Yu the right to try and break the seal that he had put on her. Yu had wear and tears on her clothes, but her body was filled with small scratches that can be easily healed with a bath. Yu smirked at the challenge and for a few weeks, she worked on breaking the seal. She kept on forcing her Lightning Maxina aura to appear, but that was the only thing happening, to her displeasure. After a few more tries, her Lightning Maxina aura started to stay, making her glad that she was making some progress.
"I'm making some progress." Yu announced to Elder Aku, who was watching her train with her own devices. He was smirking at Yu's progress.
"Yes, you are making progress. Make this one count!" He called out, making Yu forced her powers out with a pained grunt as her Lightning Maxina form had finally returned to her. Due to the training that Elder Aku put her through, her Lightning Maxina form felt more light, yet stronger. Yu went even further, trying to achieve her Super Mage form. After eleven failed tries, it had finally appeared in her now slit eyes.
"I broke the seal within half a day." Yu tells Elder Aku, falling back on the ground in her base form. Transforming into both her Lightning Maxina form and her Super Mage form in the same day had wiped her out.
After the year had ended, Yu had gained for strength in her base form and her regular transformations.
