Chapter 3: Meet with Gildarts
Right now Nico and Strauss's siblings are walking towards Magnologia city, "Hey Nico, is this really the road to Magnologia city?" Lisanna asked curiously.
Nico shook his head while glancing at Lisanna, "I don't know Lis" he replied as he shrugged his shoulders. Hearing a reply from Nico they could only sigh, 'He is really useless' they thought with a defeated face.
They had left the village for two weeks, and for two weeks they walked without knowing the direction to Magnologia city. Even so, for two weeks they became more familiar with each other from their hobbies, as well as their dreams in the future.
Nico had considered Strauss's siblings like his family. Nico thinks Lisanna is like her own sister even though they have the same age. Nico even became a role model for Elfman. Because Elfman wants to be like him, that is to be a strong man to be able to look after his sister.
While the relationship between Nico and Mirajane was quite complex, because for two weeks they both spoke only a few words and it seemed that Mirajane often kept away from them. No matter how hard he tried to get close to him, Mirajane remained like that which made him frustrated.
Nico could only surrender for now and vowed to be able to make Mirajane more open with them. When walking suddenly they are confronted by a monster that has the size of a car and has a length of about ten meters.
The monster is like a tiger, the difference is that the monster is white and has saber-like fangs. The monster looked at them hungry while drooling from his mouth. Seeing that monster made Strauss's siblings frightened and hugged each other.
While Nico just stared at the monster with a bored face, "The three of you are better off hiding behind me, because I will defeat this monster" Nico ordered as he approached the monster.
Hearing that made Strauss's siblings stare in horror at Nico, "Are you crazy !? You might die if you fight this monster!" explained Mirajane in disbelief.
Hearing that Nico just grinned, "You don't need to be afraid, because I am a mage," he explained with confidence. Hearing his explanation, Mirajane could only pray so he could survive.
Then Nico stopped far enough from the tiger monster, then he activated the Sharingan and channeled a lot of energy into his eyes and activated his Mangekyou Sharingan.
After that a black hole appeared in front of him. Then he put his right hand in and he then took his hand together with a Katana. Seeing that Strauss's siblings were not surprised, because they had often seen Nico do that.
Then Nico positioned Katana on the left hip and held the handle with his right hand. Silent without anyone attacking each other, before finally the tiger monster attacked Nico with its claws.
Seeing that made the Strauss siblings stare in shock at Nico, "Nico dodge !!" Mirajane shouted loudly. But Nico ignored his shout and continued to stare seriously towards the monster's claws that began to approach.
Before the claw hit him, "Kamui" he whispered softly and the claw passed through Nico's body. Seeing that made Strauss's siblings surprised, because this was the first time they had seen Nico's fighting ability.
After the claw completely passed through his body, Nico then pulled out the Katana blade from the holster and struck back horizontally. But the monster quickly dodged the attack and only produced a scratch on the right front leg, then the monster jumped back to get away from Nico.
Fresh blood began to emerge from the wound which made the monster angry. Before the monster attacked suddenly a red mark appeared from the wound and began to spread throughout the body of the tiger monster, after which the monster fell and did not rise again.
Seeing that Nico then swung down to get rid of the remaining blood sticking to the blade, and he then put the blade into the holster. He then saved the Katana back to the Kamui dimension, and then turned to leave the monster's body.
Seeing that Strauss's siblings approached Nico, "Are you okay, Nico !?" Lisanna asked worriedly. Seeing that Nico just rubbed Lisanna's head, "You don't need to worry Lis! That monster is not my match" he replied confidently.
"But I don't believe you are so great!" Elfman said in amazement with sparkling eyes. Nico scratched the back of his itchy head, "Haha, of course I'm great," said Nico arrogantly. Then looked at Mirajane, who was now covered in bangs.
Then he approached Mirajane, "Hey, Mira ..." "plack" Nico's words were cut off by Mirajane's slap. Nico then grabbed his left cheek and looked at Mirajane who now glared at him.
"How dare you do that !! You know how worried I am if you get hurt !!" Mirajane shouted angrily. Seeing that Nico just sighed and hugged Mirajane (who was a few inches taller than himself) to calm her down.
"Sorry if I made you worry. I promise I won't worry you anymore" Nico said softly. Mirajane then hugged Nico, they enjoyed each other ignoring the gazes of the others.
Then they heard footsteps coming from the direction of the Monster's arrival. Nico then released a hug from Mirajane ignoring Mirajane's disappointed face and standing in front of Strauss's siblings.
Then a man in his late 20s appeared, had orange hair, and wore a black robe that covered his body, wore black pants, and black boots. The man looked at the monster and his face was surprised to see the monster was dead.
Then he looked at Nico and Strauss's siblings, "Hey you guys! Who killed this monster?" asked the man. Nico stared at the man sharply knowing that in front of him was the strongest mage in Fairy Tail besides Makarav Dreyar, namely Gildarts Clave the Ace from Fairy Tail.
Nico then came forward ignoring the words of the Strauss siblings not to approach the man, "I was the one who killed the monster" replied Nico with a sharp look.
The man stared at Nico for a while, "I see, thank you for your help if not for you this monster might have escaped" said the man with a relieved face. Nico shook his head, "That doesn't matter, after all I have to protect the three of them," Nico said, pointing to Strauss's siblings.
The man then glanced at Strauss's siblings, "I see, then thank God that the monster didn't hurt them. Oh yeah my name is Gildarts Clave" said the man while introducing himself.
"My name is Nico Di Angelo and they are Strauss siblings, the youngest named Lisanna, the male is Elfman, and the one wearing the robe is the oldest named Mirajane," Nico said as he introduced himself with the Strauss brothers.
After introducing each other, Nico then took out Murasame from the Kamui dimension. Seeing that Gildart was interested in seeing what Nico was doing, 'What is Re-Quip magic? But why is it different than usual 'he thought confused.
"Gildarts Clave! I want you to fight with you!" said Nico while pointing his Katana towards Gildarts. Hearing that made those who were there looking at Nico in surprise, "Idiot, what are you doing !?" Mirajane shouted in disbelief.
Nico ignored Mirajane's shout and continued to stare at Gildarts. Gildarts sighed, "Brat, why do you want to fight me?" asked Gildart. Nico then lowered his Katana, "Because you are strong, so I want to defeat you" answered Nico honestly.
He said honestly because he could see the magic energy in Gildarts's body with the Sharingan. He could see how much magic energy was in Gildart's body like he was in the middle of a vast ocean.
'He really is a monster!' Nico thought happily, finally he could test the extent of his strength. Without waiting for a reply from Gildarts, Nico then attacks Gildarts.
Seeing Nico's impromptu attack, Gildarts pointed his right hand towards Nico. Seeing that Nico then channeled energy into his right eye. When they got close they shouted, "Crash Magic!" "Kamui!" simultaneously.
From the palm of Gildarts came out an energy like a net that enlarged and began to attack Nico, but his attack instead passed Nico's body which made him shock and made him lower his guard. Seeing that Nico then swung his sword from the right without removing the scabbard.
But his attack was held by Gildarts using his left arm. Then Gildarts punched Nico's stomach which made him spit an air out of his mouth and he was thrown back a few meters.
Then Nico landed smoothly while holding his stomach, "Damn! He's very strong, even though my attack earlier could make other people suffer a broken bone" he muttered while looking at Gildarts seriously.
Gildart looked seriously at Nico while occasionally glancing at his left arm which trembled after having resisted Nico's attack, 'This child's attack is strong, can make my arm vibrate like this' thought Gildarts.
But before Nico attacked again, he got a punch on his left cheek which made him thrown to the right and fell to the ground. And the position of his buttocks is pointing upwards, "Stop now, idiot!" Mirajane shouted with a fierce face.
Gildarts just stared dumbly at that, 'That girl is so fierce' he thought as he looked at Nico in pity. Then Mirajane looked at Gildarts with an apologetic face, "Forgive him sir, he is indeed difficult to manage," Mirajane said as she bent over.
"Ah, you don't need to worry about little girls. I don't mind, really!" said Gildart while scratching the back of his head. Then he glanced at Mirajane's arm, "By the way why is it with your arm?" asked Gildart while pointing at Mirajane's arm.
Hearing that made Mirajane panic and close his arm. Seeing that Gildarts then put on a soothing face, "Ah! You don't need to be afraid, I already know why your arms are like that" said Gildarts.
Hearing that made Mirajane look at Gildart suspiciously, "You don't need to be afraid, Mira! This person can be trusted" Nico's voice came. Then they both looked at Nico along with Lisanna and elfman.
"He is Gildarts Clave, the Ace of Fairy Tail. If we come with him maybe he can deliver us to Master Makarov," Nico said. Hearing that Gildarts then looked at Nico, "So you know who I am? Then why do you want to fight against me?" asked Gildarts curiously.
Nico looked seriously at Gildarts, "I wonder if my technique can pass through your magic" He said while activating his Sharingan. Gildarts is interested in seeing that, 'Oh, so he has eye magic huh?' Gildarts is interested.
Then Gildarts nodded his head, "I can take you to the Master" answered Gildarts. Hearing that made the Strauss siblings happy, "Mira-nee, this way Mira-nee's hands can return to normal" said lisanna
Mirajane could only nod while shedding tears, then they hugged each other. Nico smiled at the three then looked at Gildarts, "Hey Old man! Please take us to Fairy Tail," Nico told Gildarts. Hearing that made Gildart upset, "Hey, I'm still young, you brat!" Gildarts shouted, hitting Nico's head.
"Damn you Old man! This hurts you know" Nico said as he rubbed the top of his head. Gildarts just snorted, "That's the result because you've insulted me" explained Gildarts with a triumphant smile.
Seeing the smile of Gildarts made Nico angry, "Damn you Old man!" Nico shouted as he jumped into Gildarts's body. Then they fell and created a collection of smoke covering them, "Feel this Old man" "Agghh, how dare you bite me," they said. Seeing that the Strauss siblings burst out laughing at him.
That was the meeting of Nico and Strauss's siblings with Ace, after which they went together to go to Magnologia city.
