"I didn't wish for his death, but I felt I had no other option," Philip admitted, his tone heavy with regret. "After all, he was someone you were betrothed to. At that time, I couldn't fathom why Amaya had made that decision, but I consented to it because I had watched the boy grow up before my eyes and had developed an affection for him."
