Chapter 126: Feels funny

The light from the phone stole Fil's attention, making her stop applying her moisturizer as her eyes fell on her phone. She had kept it on mute the whole day, knowing she didn't want distraction with today's agenda. But since Marcus took the bait earlier than expected, Fil had no reason to ignore Jackson. 

"Oh, it's not him," she muttered as she checked the sender. 

The corner of her mouth curled up because the first thing that welcomed her was a selfie of Elijah and Jackson. By the look of it, the two were chilling by the pool.

"Goodness. It looks like they're having a lot of fun," she commented, checking the other photos Elijah sent.
