Chapter 41: Sports Festival 6/?
[Read the authors note. I need your opinions on something]
(In the arena)
"Whats the score again..120-143" Jackson asked.
"Ya but not for long, this will mark my 144th win against you" David said with confidence.
"Lets see about that" Jackson said boosting his physical capabilities by circulating his blood rapidly.
David noticing him getting ready, also started to boost himself. The two were looking at each other up and down trying to come up with a plan to win against the other.
'Hmm, Jackson will have the advantage if he fly's into the air but i can hit him with pressurized wind blasts. If he uses his red knight form he might come out on top if I don't boost to my near maximum amount. *Sigh* either way this match will be troublesome' David thought analyzing Jackson trying to think of a way he could win.
'David will have more of an advantage if we fight head to head. If I want a higher chance at winning I need to fly up into the air. But then again he can do pressurized air shots with his power. Ahhhh this is so annoying, If only people weren't watching I would've used the blood knight Armour' Jackson thought.
''Fuck it lets just go at it head on and see who comes out on top'' They both thought simultaneously.
"Start" the announcer said.
As soon as they said that Jackson rushed towards David head on instead of flying into the air. David and Jackson punched each other at the same time.
When their fist collided a small gust of wind flew past them. Jackson then backed away and sent a round house kick at David.
David met his round house kick with his own. *boom* Their kicks collided and send a small but stronger gust of wind passed them.
Jackson and David both smiled as they backed away and started enhancing themselves even further.
'If he keeps boosting more i'll lose' Jackson thought enhancing his body by making his blood flow even faster than it already was.
Jackson before David could boost any further rushed at him. Jackson disappeared form the eyes of lower ranking heroes and civilians.
Jackson appeared in front of David and sent a punch at him. *POW* he sent the punch and it was blocked by the smiling David.
David blocked the punch and returned it.*Pow* David's punch hit Jackson in the ribs which sent him flying backwards.
*Spit*
"You don't pull your punches on little old me huh" Jackson said spitting out some blood.
"Don't be like that and stop playing the victim card always. Hurry up" David said enhancing himself again.
The referee was going to stop the fight but stopped when Jackson easily got up and stretched.
"Fine, fine don't get all impatient on me" Jackson said cutting his finger with his ring and duplicating the blood.
Jackson then made a giant blood tornado and sent it David's way. "You might have to dodge that" Jackson said with a smirk.
"*scoff* Don't joke around" David said boosting himself even further and sent a punch that blew away the blood.
Blood flew everywhere but before it could fall on the ground Jackson manipulated the bloods to make knives and sent them at insane speeds.
*BOOOOM*
The knives went so fast they broke the sound barrier. *Swoosh* The knives flew in the air and were guided by Jackson.
David seeing this could help but kiss his teeth in annoyance. "Shit" He muttered as he boosted himself more and ran straight towards Jackson. *Boom* That was what everyone heard as they saw David disappear from his spot and appear near Jackson.
*Pow* David punched Jackson in the chest making him fly back. Jackson who was not fast enough got sent flying back and almost went out of the arena.
"oww, Fuck this I'm going all out" Jackson said as he used the blood that was scattered around the arena from his knives he lost control of.(He need to concentrate when he manipulates it)
Blood flew to Jackson as it went on his body and covered him. After a quick second armour appeared on Jackson's body (Igris Armour Solo Levelling)
People in the stands were shocked at Jackson who was now covered in red Armour that looked very domineering. "WOOW", "SO COOL" could be heard form the stands.
Jackson wasn't done as he sprouted red wings from his back. This got even more "WOW's" form the crowd.
"Show off" David said with a smile as he boosted the furthest he has for years.
Jackson flew into the air and made blood bullets that flew towards David at insane speeds. David easily move out of the way and jumped into the air breaking the sound barrier.
Jackson seeing David jump towards him quickly moved out of the way quickly and appeared behind David.
*POOWWWW* Jackson hit David in the face sending him to the ground.
"HAHAHAH" David's laughs could be heard by everyone.
(In the waiting room)
"Why is he laughing like that" Mina asked causing everyone in the room to turn to Damien.
"Haha David's gonna give it his all" Damien said with a laugh.
"He wan't trying" Tsuyu asked.
"No he was but he wasn't going all out" Damien explained causing everyone to gasp.
Everyone in the waiting room watched the intense battle and Damien was saying he wasn't going all out.
"Does that mean Jackson will lose" Mina asked.
"David is a battle maniac. He might not seem like it but he likes fighting the most and when he gets this into a fight he gets to into it even when I met him he was like this" Damien said.
'I've been with them for a while now haven't I' Damien thought about the old days and how he met them.
"But that doesn't mean Jackson will lose one hundred percent. Jackson can still win but it's not in his favor" Damien continued.
They nodded and looked back at the TV.
(back at the arena)
"You're really getting into this huh David" Jackson asked with a smile behind his helmet.
"Haha, well aren't you" David said with a smile.
"You're right" Jackson said getting ready to attack.
"Now lets get started" David said boosting to his max (IT will grow but for now this is the max. btw its around 70 but each boost gives more strength. Think about it like the boosted gear in hs dxd but better and he doesn't have to wait i can give you guys a better explanation about there quirks if you guys want)
Jackson flew straight down while David hunched over like a cheetah and launched himself at Jackson.
*BOOOOMMMMMM*
Both of them broke the sound barrier and reached each other. David was faster and grabbed onto Jackson's helmet and dived straight down.
"Gahh" Jackson said hitting the floor of the arena.
*Crack*
Jacksons helmet and Armour broke signifying that Jackson lost. David seeing this raised his fists to humor his fans.
*CHEER*
Everyone in the stands was cheering. "Good job blood kid. You'll be a strong hero", "It's one loss don't let it get to you" The people in the stands tried cheering up Jackson.
Jackson then got up a minute later with some difficulty and raised his arms. The crowd cheered even louder.
"I'll beat you next time, but your next match is against that monster" Jackson said.
"*Sigh* I wish I didn't have to fight him especially after this fight" David said shrugging.
They fist high fived and walked away. Jackson walked to the infirmary to get healed and David walked back to the waiting room as he was already healed when he boosted himself.
When David got back to the arena everyone congratulated him. "Good job" Momo said walking up to David and giving him a hug.
"Thanks" David said hugging her back.
"But you know, I should really get a reward for winning a hard battle like that" David said with a smile.
Damien hearing this nodded sagely and said "The student has become the master".
David hearing this chuckled. "W-what do you want" Momo asked blushing.
"Hmm how about a date" David said.
"O-ok" Momo agreed shyly.
"Great then tomorrow night it is" David said siting down in a chair.
"Next match will start in forty minute. The next match will be the finals, Damien against David" the announcer said.
Damien looked at David and said "I'll hold back a bit" with a smile.
David snorted and replied "I'll be going all out from the start so you better be ready".
Damien smiled at his comment and said "I'll be ready when you can win even a match. What is it 200-1".
David kissed his teeth and said "This will be my second one".
"HAHA, I bet Jackson said the same as you did right now" Damien said laughing.
David ignored his comment and continued to talk to the rest of the group.
(Forty minutes later)
"Damien and David please come to the arena".
Damien and David who were laughing a second ago wiped their smiles off their faces and walked out together.
The group looked at their backs and talked about who would win.
"Damien will win one hundred percent" Jackson said.
The girls jumped and Tsuyu asked "Whoa Jackson when did you get here".
"Just now" Jackson responded.
"Why do you think that, I believe David could win" Momo said.
"Hahah, you just haven't seen Damien try his hardest. Heck even I haven't seen him go all out in a while" Jackson said shocking the group.
"Wow" Mina said in awe of Damien.
"Yup that's Damien for you, but you never know a miracle might happen" Jackson said sitting down and looking at the screen.

*Ok guys should I write a ff about a boy who lives in a world where portals open to different dimensions with different beings. for example beasts, Demons, angels and Dragons. He would have the power to devour and everything he devours he gains their stats and a certain power from them he could chose. He will have a system to keep track of his powers and not one with a store, missions etc.
or do you guys want me to continue the Haikyuu ff after this*
I will finish this first, which will continue for a while.
