Chapter 7: Stefan
(Stefan POV)
While Stefan's parents were dragging away his brother, he was thinking over why this happened. At the time being he hated his brother for what he did. 'Why did he do that. Just cause he didn't hav any friends doesn't mean he could treat mine like that' he thought while going back to his room after they drove off. His parents got home after three hours and had a talk with him.
"Listen Stefan, you're a good person and destined to be a hero. We have high hopes for you, don't end up like that piece of trash" his father explained to him. His mother only nodded but had nothing to say. Stefan agreed and that afternoon he went to train. He hasn't trained that hard for months and had trouble doing the things he used to be able to do. He had less stamina and was less fit. Instead of training hard and trying to better himself. Stefan was at an arcade and eating unhealthy foods. 'I won't slack off anymore. I have to live up to my parents expectations and show them that I will be the number one hero in the future' he thought while hardening his resolve. After summer ended Stefan met up with Alice and made their way to second grade.
As they took their seats both Alice and Stefan were partnered together. Meaning they sat next to each other. They were both glad that they were together since they were good friends. Alice was confused though. 'Where's Damien' she thought to herself. She decided to ask Stefan and all he did was kiss his teeth and say that "he is not apart of my family". Alice was worried and honestly scared. She never saw Stefan that annoyed and decided not to push for answers. The bell rang and class started. At lunch many kids where around their table and Stefan made many new friends. After lunch ended they continued to listen to the lesson the teacher gave and finally the first day was over.
Life for Stefan continued like. He would train in the morning go to school and train after school. He would still hangout with his friends and tried to visit his friends in the hospital but they wouldn't allow him in. After a month it was finally his birthday and became five. For his birthday he invited all his friends from school and even sent invitations to the ones in the hospital. Stefan didn't believe they would come but he still hoped they would. As kids and their parents made their way n the party started. They all gave their presents to Stefan who accepted them with a big smile. After a couple of hours everyone started to leave. He had a good birthday and got many things he liked. Stefan from his parents got new gauntlets which where white and gold. When everyone left the door bell rang and Stefan opened the door. He saw three people one was a boy his age with half red and half white hair, a big man with red hair and finally a blonde man with a huge smile on his face. He was shocked. It was All Might and Endeavour. He greeted Endeavour as uncle as he met him many times and was his god father since Endeavour and his father where good friends. He invited them in and they all had dinner together. He talked with All Might, and after that was done he went to train with the boy his age Shoto Todoroki. They bonded and became friends after a day. They had a spar to see who was stronger and Stefan had an overwhelming victory.
While they were sparring Endeavour asked Stefan's father about Damien and he responded by saying "that villain is locked up. He is not apart of our family anymore". Hearing this Endeavour was shocked but didn't say anything as it was not his business. All might on the other hand was furious that he called his own son a villain and abandoned him but he also kept quiet astigmatisms also wasn't his business. Since Endeavour flew out to America he decided to stay with Stefan's family as he was invited by them. He stayed for a week and over that time shoto and Stefan became very close. He also became friends with Alice and started to have a little crush on her.(kid stuff he thought she was pretty nothing else)
After staying for a week they went back to japan and Stefan went back to his regular schedule. He didn't have any strong sparring partners so he kept training his body and quirk. After a couple of months his friends from the hospital came back. He went up to talk with them but they seemed afraid and apologized for what they did to Damien. Stefan was confused and asked them about it.
"Are you kidding me it was all because of his order to start fighting with Damien that got us this fucked up. Don't go pretending your his brother I know you know. We'll leave you alone just don't talk to us anymore" one of the kids stated. Stefan was shocked at how Damien was right all along. His friends started the fight and he was just protecting himself. He decided to re-think his thought about Damien and came to a conclusion to apologize the next time he sees' him. He then explained to Alice how it wasn't Damien and how he was protecting himself. They felt horrible about how they felt about him after the accident.
When he got home he wanted to explain to his parents about Damien but he knew he would not be able to get through to them as they hate him, at least his father. He decided to talk about it later on so until the. He went to train.
Life continued for Stefan like this. He would train go to school and train after school. Then he was finally seven years old. That day he decided to tell his parents as he always put it off out of fear but he resolved himself and approached his parents. He explained it to them but only his mother listened. His father didn't care and just left muttering hateful words towards Stefan about bringing up his mistake of a child. Stefan thought at least his mother would do something but all she said was "he is still the villain in this situation. He could make trouble anytime and you know his quirk. He is the he devil incarnate".
Stefan after the talk came to the conclusion that nothing will change. He decided to have a something to remover him and by and so he decided to grow out his hair. This showed him that he will be like him and be more outgoing and more goofy. And like that he was twelve and was enjoying his summer before going to a hero high school in America.(two months left until his high school career.
