Chapter 1: The devil in the woods
( It's my first time writing so give any advice to make it better)
Somewhere in Sabaody Archipelago
An old man with a white cape and shorts was walking through the forest to get over a hangover from heavy drinking from the previous night until he spotted a blood trail too small to be from an animal so he followed it until he found a bloody corpse of a woman tightly holding something.
The old man examined the surroundings then the woman corpse and concluded that she was escaping marines for some reason as he found three marine corpses not far from the woman's body and guessed she was going to be captured to be a slave for the celestial dragons but refused and died for her defiance. The old man was going to move the woman's body so he could give her a proper burial until he started to hear crying so he gently moved her body until he found a 4-month-old boy underneath.
When he looked at the baby he soothed it until it stopped crying and saw him opening his eyes to reveal crimson red eyes. He then wrapped the baby in his white cape and set him on the ground so he could bury the boy's mother. After he was finished burying her he returned to the boy and picked him up and saw the child giggling at him and wrapped his finger around the old man's finger.
The old man decided he would take care of the boy because of the length his mother went to protect her child. After 20 minutes walking the old man reached his home and walked in with the sound of the bell ringing as he entered. The first thing he saw was his wife wiping down the bar and said " Hi Shakky" Shakky was about to respond until she saw and boy wrapped in a cape in his arms and asked, " who's that cutie pie the Rayleigh". Shakky was confused because she never thought Rayleigh would come back from his walk in the woods with a baby.
" I found him in the woods with his mother was dead so I was going to bury her and then give the boy to an orphanage but when I saw his crimson eyes all I saw was his will to live" he then looked at the boy who was soundly asleep " so I decided to take him with me back here to ask you if we could adopt him" giving shakky a pleading look.
Shakky looked at Rayleigh then at the baby " Of course we will look at him he looks like he's already found his home". Shakky took the child in her arms and kept gently swaying him while his crimson eyes were looking at her and she remembered something important " Rayleigh he hasn't got a name so what will we call him"
Rayleigh laughed" Gua hahaha that's true well what do you think we should name him it should be a great name". Shakky was thinking about what they could name their new son " Samael, that's our son's name.
