"You already know that I'm your mate, right? So, when are we going to get married?" Maxieno's question caught Suri off guard, causing her to cough involuntarily.

"Please don't talk like that again," Suri responded, her tone tinged with unease.

"Why? Is there something wrong with what I said?"

"I don't want to talk about it right now. The claim that we are mates is solely your assertion. I haven't fully accepted it yet," Suri explained, her words sounded a bit hesitant, yet it was firm.

"After all the clues I gave, you still haven't thought about it since last night?"

"I've thought about it, but I haven't come up with a satisfactory conclusion yet."

Maxieno frowned, genuinely puzzled. He couldn't comprehend what was still unclear to Suri. Even Arielle immediately accepted it as it was. Did Suri feel no attraction to him or whatsoever?
