Chapter 70: Grimnar's Devotion.
When Maulketh crossed the border and ascended into a Dragon God, the blood and soul connections he shared with Runeas, Rias, Valina, Marcus, Astrid, Grimnar, and Celestine instantly were upgraded. His soul was that of a Dragon God, but the dimensional distance caused the connection to become weak.
However, the amount of his power that still came over was astronomical. The Divine Energy they got actually caused the three of them to evolve once again. For Marcus, who was Maulketh's clone, he was in his room on his knees as his strength was rapidly rising as the connection he shared with his Father was just as strong.
But Runeas, Valina, and Rias had a much weaker connection to Maulketh, so the feedback to his blood was fainter. However, his Maulketh was still fully connected to each drop of his blood no matter what Dimension he was in.
While that was going on, Shiva was currently in the Dimensional Gap with Ophis and Great Red. Both Dragon Gods were glaring at him as they blamed him for the disappearance of Maulketh.
Shiva though did not seem bothered by the two strongest beings of their world looming over him. But even he was worried for his friend. Ophis sighed as she tried to calm herself. She was raising Maulketh to be her mate once he became a Dragon God and as soon as he ascended, he was gone from her reach.
She was beyond pissed off, but she could not harm Shiva. He and Maulketh were friends and Maulketh would be enraged if she killed his friend.
"Shiva, you have exactly 1 minute to explain what you were thinking to unseal Trihexa of all things."
Shiva brushed her off.
"This was Maulketh's decision. He was the one who wanted to fight it, and it was what he needed to become a Dragon God. But his vanishing was not in our plans. What do I tell his family?"
Great Red broke his silence and spoke.
"We still have a connection, but faint."
The booming sound of Great Red filled the Dimensional Gap which was still recovering. Ophis and Shiva could also feel that weak connection as they all had blessed or helped Maulketh.
Great Red and Ophis had given him their blessings, while Shiva had not only named Maulketh, but he has also fed him his own Divine Energy to fuel his evolution. As they were floating, Shiva had an idea.
"I have an idea. We all have a very faint connection with him, so we gather all who have a direct connection with him. Ares, his three familiars, the three girls he shared his blood with, and his clone. All of us have some connection with him. If we gather all of us together, we can more than likely form a stronger connection. Maybe even communication."
Ophis looked at Great Red who understood. Instantly, the Dimensional Gap was filled with flashes of Light. Runes, Rias, Valina, Marcus, Ares, Astrid, Celestine, and Grimnar, all soon appeared in the Dimensional Gap.
Immediately it was obvious something was going on. Astrid, Celestine, and Grimnar all were overflowing with Divine Energy that was coming from the connection to Maulketh. When Maulketh fell into the DC universe, their soul connection was immediately weakened.
The three of them were fearing the worst, but before anyone could say anything Ophis spoke.
"As you may have noticed, our connections with Maulketh are weak. In his battle with Trihexa, he fell into a Dimensional crap and vanished. He is alive as I and Great Red still have our connection with him and so do you."
Runeas took a deep breath as she kept calm.
"What do we do to get him back?"
Rias who was next to her was pacing as the strong connection she shared with Maulketh through their blood was weak. Valina was the calmest, but she was still visibly nervous.
Shiva explained.
"All of us here share a direct connection, so if we all work together we should be able to form a direct connection or triangulate a location."
Ares walked forward.
"Let's do this. That is my friend and Brother In Law out there."
Marcus did the same as Ares.
"How do we begin?"
Ophis explained.
"Me, Shiva, Ares, and Great Red all have blessed him so our blessings are still connected to us. Then, Grimnar, Marcus, Celestine, and Astrid are connected to his soul. Using that connection along with using your three's blood connection as a boost we hope for the best. Let's begin."
Great Red, Ophis, Shiva, and Ares all linked their minds to better shape this. With that, they used Astrid, Grimnar, Celestine, and Marcus to get a direct soul link along with the connection Runeas, Valina, and Rias shared to strengthen the connection.

As for Maulketh who was currently sitting on the same bench with Trihexa, placed a hand on his head. He could feel the connections he shared with those back in his home dimension become several times stronger.
"Trihexa, share with me your energy."
She placed her hand on his shoulder and her own Divine Energy began to flow into him like a ocean. Using his own endless energy reserves he focused on that strengthen connection which became strong enough for communication.
He closed his eyes and spoke up.
"Maulketh here alive and well."
Instantly everyone sighed in relife. Runeas instantly began yelling at him.
"MARK YOU ARE SO DEAD!"
He sighed.
"You won't guess where I ended up?"
Runeas calmed herself for a moment.
"Where?"
"Well, I just saw Green Lantern."
Runeas paused for a moment before she began to laugh.
"HAHAHA. You are in the DC universe? How?"
"I guess works of fiction in one reality, can be real in another. We could very well be a book or something."
Shiva spoke up.
"While questioning if we are all fictional characters in some other world is interesting, we much better work on getting you home."
Runeas though gave them all bad news.
"Look, over the past 800 years, I have had a lot of free time. I used that to read into the deeper DC universe and to get out he will have to break a big fucking wall that is better to keep things in than out. OR, get strong enough to break dimensions to get back to ours."
Maulketh sighed.
"I did that already, but I lost my traces."
Ares had an idea.
"You know what, I will get those nerds to work on a device to track you. With all of them working together, it should work. Get you some nerds of your universe to double down on a two-way connection. Oh, you are being worshiped in your territory as well. Can you feel it?"
Maulketh was feeling drips of faith coming from the people who whole heartedly prayed to him in his churches. It as small, but it was a constant. Rias though voiced her concerns.
"Maulketh, how long will we not see you?"
He sighed.
"I don't know, I hope not long. Shiva, Ophis, Great Red, Marcus, Runeas, Rias, Valina, Astrid, Celestine, Grimnar, keep my kingdom running will you?'
Ophis and Great Red accepted.
"You have our word."
Shiva as well.
"I ensure it prospers until your return my friend."
Ares chuckled.
"Count on me. But, stay safe brother."
Valina though wished him luck.
"Good luck, Maulketh. Come back fast, or you won't ever get to enjoy our bodies."
That was more than enough motivation for him. But Runeas being the nerd she was gave him some advice.
"Hey, try to bag Wonder Woman for the harem. I would not mind getting fucked alongside her."
Everyone gave her a side look, but she did not care.
"DO IT FOR ME!"
He was about to answer when Grimnar squinted his three sets of eyes. He was the one who felt the most guilty. He should have gone with Maulketh and he stayed behind. He had to do something about it. Using the powerful connection they were all sharing, he used up all his energy and the deep soul connection he shared with his master.
He actually vanished which shocked them all. In the end, he ended up appearing inside Maulketh's Familiar space. When that happened, the connection became far weaker as they lost one of the biggest anchors to him.
As the connection was breaking Runeas spoke to him.
"I love you, Mark. Eat Darkseid, thank me later."
"I love you too Runeas. I will."
The connection broke apart which caused him to clench his fist. He exhaled as Trihexa pulled her hand back. He opened his eyes and summoned Grimnar to his feet. When Grimnar appeared at his feet, he was exhausted.
His energy was fully empty, but he forced himself up. He jumped into Maulketh's arms as he hugged his master. The dog began to shed tears of joy that he would not have to not see his master again. Maulketh returned the hug happy to have his dog back.
"Grimnar, what would I have done without you."
Trihexa titled her head.
"Is he your familiar?"
Maulketh nodded.
"And my best friend. Now that the connection that Grimnar and Maulketh shared was established, the full power of Maulketh flowed into the dog. Maulketh brought Grimnar back into the familiar space to give him a safe place to evolve.
Once Grimnar was gone, Maulketh leaned back as he was glad he got to speak to his friends and family. He would have to put his hope in Ajuka, Hephestus, Azazel, and the dwarves to build a device to bring him back. Ares did talk about getting some smart people here to try to do the same, but who?
Just as he was in thought, he and Trihexa both instantly noticed two strong beings approaching them. But to Maulketh, he could smell the familiar scent of Zeus. It was totally different from the Zeus he ate, but it was still similar.
He looked across the street, and he saw Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. He and Trihexa did not bother to get up as the three heroes began to approach them. He leaned forward and pushed up his sunglasses.
Trihexa though kept up her haughty appearance as she leaned back instead. Slowly but surely the three heroes soon were just a few feet away from the two Dragon Gods. The first to speak was actually Maulketh.
"Klark Kent, Diana Prince, Bruce Wayne."
As always, Maulketh always read the full life story of anyone he wanted to know. Now that he was a Dragon God that was even easier than ever. It was also a good way to get a general feel for his surroundings.
Wonder Woman stepped forward.
"I am Diana of Themyscira. Mighty Dragon Gods, welcome to earth. I am glad to see you have stopped your struggle."
Maulketh leaned back a bit.
"Yeah, we can't kill each other so we might as well be friends."
Trihexa did not bother to speak at all letting Maulketh do all the talking.
"I am glad you got to understand each other. We the Justice League wanted to speak with you two. We understand you are not from our Dimension."
Maulketh nodded.
"Correct, and I would like to go back to my Dimension as soon as possible. But it turns out the path we used was already closed. So now we are stuck in this dimension for the foreseeable future."
Superman spoke up.
"We the Justice League can help you return home. But to do that we need the planet in one piece."
Trihexa finally broke the silence.
"Your planet will remain intact, we won't fight to the death anymore anyway."
Batman remembered the pact they made in space. It was to work together and not against each other so now if they fought one they would face both. Both could break Dimensions, destroy planets on whims, and use magic.
Just the fact they were magical entities made them far more dangerous than some other powerful foes. Only magic could defeat magic. Wonder Woman sighed in relief.
"What will you do now? If you are stuck here, will you remain on Earth?"
Maulketh stood up which showed how tall he was. He towered over the three of them, but when Trihexa stood up it was obvious she was taller as well.
"For now. We won't be joining your League, but I will ensure this planet stays complete. Oh and question, where can I find Darkseid? I made a promise to eat him."
(Can't go without Grimnar can we? Also, the Time Dilation between DC and DxD is 10 DC Years is 1 DxD Day.)
