Bree's eyes widened as she reach her hand to wipe the black ink on the side of Yakov's face but just as her fingertips were going to skim over his skin, he caught her and calmly said,  " You do not need to do this, your majesty, please do know that you are the queen of the Empire and the wife of the heir of Sceptre family, do not ever touch something so filthy with your bare hands." 

" But it has stained your face," she could not understand it, this Yakov was the same man who planned to kill the Dragon Queen but now he wasn't even letting her touch the ink stains on his face. 

She really couldn't figure out what was going on in his head.
