Some of you are not going to be happy with it but this chapter and the chapter after this one, and a tiny bit of the chapter after that one since the introduction of Lilim are word for word from the light novel...

I have to do it, not alot of people even know Zeta's back story which is by far the saddest backstory of the 7 shades in the light novel so far imo

~Omni pov~
It has been 3 weeks since Epsilon has joined Shadow Garden.
Cid this time decided to train them on the beach in the middle of the night, what he was teaching them was what he calls magic power control.
Cid stood infront of everyone and said "Today I'm teaching you on how to control your magic, there is more to magic than simple enhancements"
Cid then started to walk towards the sea and instead of sinking in, he stay floating on top of the water. He then continued walking and as he made it a bit farther away he turned to them and amplified his voice.
"Should you be able to control your magic almost anything is possible. You won't be able to leave until you be able to at lease stay standing on water." Cid then went on to explain the process on how it's done.
He then returned to them and started to guide them, the one who had it easier was Epsilon due to her constantly manipulating the slime suit she had to find out any other tricks she could do with it. So her magic control is already better than most.
The one who had it the worst was actually Delta since due to her aggressive nature found it hard to be precise and careful with her magic.
So instead of actually trying to teach her how to control it Cid just told her "try to enhance your body so it's fast enough to simply run on water and you don't have to be so precise" and Delta did just that
While the other were training and dawn was about to break Cid decided to enhance his eyes to see if he could see anything beyond the ocean and what he saw left him quite shocked.
He saw a female cat beastkin holding a baby while looking across the Ocean she then turned around and was surrounded by people dressed up in priest outfits.
Without warning Cid's face turned serious and said "Fly Kaisel" and with that Kaisel appeared right underneath him and took him towards the sky.
Hearing the seriousness of his voice everyone stopped what they were doing and turned to look at Cid and once they saw his serious face their face turned serious as well
And once they saw him take off to the direction of the ocean, they looked at each other and nodded, Alpha took Gamma in a princess carry and started running at full speed across the water, Beta soon followed behind but was much slower who was followed by Epsilon. While Delta just got on all four and followed Cid's advice and went on a full sprint across the water.
A few hours earlier in the Gold Panther Tribe.....
Lilim who was asleep woke up when she heard a commotion in the middle of the night. She woke up feeling hope that maybe it's her father that came back.
As for why her father was away in the first place, Lilim has contracted the symptoms of "Possession" one month ago.
When she showed her parents they were shocked and she started crying. Right then and there she offered herself to be burned at the stake due to the rules of the beastkins
But her father would never allow such a thing. How could he, he loved his daughter too much to do something like that. And so he left on a journey to try and find a cure but after a month nothing was heard.
That's why Lilim was optimistic about the commotion outside
"Maybe it's father, maybe he's back"
And as she went outside she did find her father but her father was on his knees tied up covered in blood.
Torches that were lit surrounding him, seeing such a scene her mother then yelled out boldly "WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS"
"Looks like the filth hasn't been drive away yet"
The one who stepped forward with a torch on his hands was the head of a branch family from the Golden Panther Clan. "You know the rules all Clans follow, all filth shall be cleansed up no matter what"
Lilim's mother just stood infront of her protecting her in silence.
"Where is the filthy, answer us" the branch head said as he pulled out his sword and stab her father in the shoulder.
"I don't know" the father said with a hoarse voice
The head of the branch family just looked at him with a cold look in his eyes as he pushed the sword further down.
Blood gushed everywhere while the sound of a bone breaking was soon heard.
Seeing no reaction from him the branch head just said "How boring" before stabbing the sword once again.
"Stop it! You won't be forgiven for aiming your sword towards the head of the clan." Lilim's mother said
The branch head then sneered and said "I will be forgiven. From now on I'm the new head of the main clan of the Golden Panthers"
"And what proof could you possibly have, to make yourself the new head" said the mother.
"A priest from the Holy Church came towards the village and told us about the existence of traces of demon possessions. Apparently on the East the Holy Church collects anyone who has sign of the possession"
A new figure then appeared from within the group this time it was a man wearing a priest outfits and as he appeared he gave a faint smile said "The filth must be handled immediately otherwise who knows when it would spread and cause chaos and destruction"
Lilim's father then protested ".... Liar"
The priest then turned to him with a mocking gaze asked "Did you say something beastkin"
"I said you are lying human"
"What lies have I made"
"Everything, Demon Possession doesn't exist its a lie made by the Holy Church"
"Have you lost your mind" the branch head said
As if instigating it, everyone started sneering towards him.
But the sneers were ignored by the priest and father as they just continued staring at each other "Do you have any prove" the priest asked
The father then starts off by saying "The Golden Panther Clan is a long established bloodline, all the chieftains have inherited the story of the great Hero, the story of the beastkin Hero, the one that directly fought against the demon Diabolos"
"A fairy tale then?" The priest presumes
"Yes, it is a fairy tale. However, it slightly differs from the fairy tale passed on today in the world. The heroes were women, not men, and the demon possessions are blessing not a curse"
The priest eyes sharpen "That statement is considered an act of blasphemy against the Holy Church.
Fairytales will fade with time, stop talking nonsense"
"Is that so?, This is a heroic tale passed down only to the head of the clan for generations, it will not fade so easily, above all else we are a clan of the Golden Panthers...
We are descendants of the great Hero Lili, one of the three heroes that has defeated the demon Diabolos. that's the evidence"
"In other words?" the priest asks
"In other words, the stories of the heroes passed down by the Golden Panthers are the truth, while the Holy Church distorted the facts"
