It was actually a great act of courage from Arren to invite Spade to spend his heat with him. However, he wanted to raise the matter himself because he was aware that, between them, he was the one who usually took the initiative or was the one flirting. Not to say that Spade didn't want to, but Arren knew the alpha respected him so much.

So, if he were the one to invite the other, surely the alpha couldn't refuse, right? Although Arren wasn't confident about it.

Spade stared at him; this made him bite his lips, and he suddenly became self-conscious. Why was he not responding to him?

If only Arren knew how his invitation was doing with Spade.

"Are you sure?" after a while the alpha asked, voice slightly hoarse.

Arren nodded his head to show that he was sure about it. He fiddled with his fingers that were on the alpha's back. Suddenly, he became anxious as he didn't perceive Spade's reactions as positive.
