At the same time, when the members of the E clan were celebrating their huge victory after destroying most of the D clan and the A clan after them for revolting the D clan members' killing.
On the island of Raftel stood a man stood a man looking at what seemed to be a mural on the side of the mountain and signed thinking 'is all that I have accomplished really for not. Is what I believed to be the ending the just beginning.' The man was tall and dark toned with thick black hair and a curly moustache. He was wearing Blue t shirt and dark blue trousers with a red captains coat. He was none other that gol d. Roger the newly appointed pirate king.
He took one last look at the mural and checked with his observation haki if there were any other secrets hidden. Checking that there were none he left the cave and met up with his crew. The entire crew was flabbergasted seeing as their loud and brash captain seemed to have aged around 10 years and seemed to be contemplating something.
After quite sometime of thinking Gol D. Roger announced 'Someone fix me a meeting with Garp.'
The crew were shocked as to why the captain would like to meet with the man who was hell bent on capturing them. Even though many of them had conflicting viewpoints regarding this meet they still reluctantly agreed because of their devotion towards their captain.
A few hours later they got the message that Garp had agreed and they were to meet at the Sabaody Archipelago in 2 weeks time. Hearing this Roger ordered his men to get ready to set sail at once.
2 weeks later at the Sabaody archipelago,
After meeting with Garp, Roger assembled his crew. This was where he told them 'I am going to surrender myself.'
Hearing this the crew was blown out of their minds. Rayleigh stood up at once and argued 'The he** Roger, what are you thinking.' to which Roger replied 'In this life I have achieved all I could and I can't see any room for me to go further, but that is me I want you lot to live happy and long lives. And Rayliegh say goodbye to Rouge for me'.
With this Roger said his farewell to his crew who were all seen with tears in their eyes and left with Garp and the marines.
