Chapter 3: I'll be Rude With My Lady

"So, my lady, do you want me to help you?"

The lady heard the warm voice of the man, with his sight towards a certain direction.

She awakes from her shyness and follows his line of sight.

Startled by the view, she felt uncomfortable. She does not know why she is still so close to the human boundary after feeling she run for a couple of hours.

In their line of sight were several men in black, hitting the golden wall, with their fists and weapons, trying to cross it. But to no avail.

Her pursuers could not see the other side of the golden wall, but she could see them.

The lady's face turned cold; she could do nothing with them because they restricted her powers. She could not tell how and why do they know about the way of sealing her magic.

She can only wait to investigate and discover who is the mastermind.

"My Lord, I don't know who you are. But… I would gladly accept your help. I need to return to the place where I came from, my home. But I need to get rid of them first."

She is a calm and collected lady. Her high upbringing did not allow her to express her discomfort or any other emotion, but today is an exception.

For some reason, she trusts the man in front of her, maybe it is his attractive face or his aura, but she feels safe with him.

The man narrowed his eyes and an imperceptible frown drawn on his face. But it changed faster, as if the expression has been just an illusion.

Not one knew what was he thinking.

Spreading his hand in front of her, his warm and gentle voice resounded once again.

"Okay, my Lady. I'll help you with those annoying pests and then take you to your current home." 'A home that no longer will be your home in the not-so-far future.' he could only voice the last sentence in his mind.

The lady did not pay attention to the meaning behind his words. She only took his hand, and an electrical current of something flowed in her veins, making her close her eyes and give herself to the pleasant feeling his touch gave her.

The man saw her like that and the corner of his lips raised in a smirk. 'Very well, you feel my touch with pleasure. It will be easier to touch you more in the future.'

Suppressing his beastly desires, he clenched her small and tender hand with love, and the protectiveness he exuded, reached her heart.

"My apologies then. I'll have to be rude to my lady."

But before she could figure out the meaning of his words, he snapped his fingers and light enters her forehead, making her faint.

Catching out her body before she falls to the ground, fearing that she could get hurt from the fall.

"Okay, let's go, my lady."

He strode slowly towards the place the pursuers were striking.

A shadow came behind him, making him stop in his tracks. The shadow kneels and, with respect in his voice; he spoke.

"Master, there is no need to dirty your hands with such a pest. Let me deal with those unworthy trashes."

"Hmm? Shin? No, it's unnecessary. Don't hinder my actions." Answered nonchalantly, the man. But deep inside, he's cursing the shadow.

'Damn, Shin! I want to take care of them myself. That way I can boast in front of her. Don't screw my plans to win the beauty. I'll have to give him more tasks to make his mind and time busy.'

Shin, the shadow, did not know his master's thoughts. If he knew, he will be dumbfounded and his expression will be worse than the lady's when she saw the man.

And if his subjects were to see him acting out of his character and heard his thoughts, they would faint in fear and the shock would lead them to ask if someone has possessed their master.

As the man got closer to the place the humans were, a cold and ruthless expression replaced his warm and gentle expression from where he looked at the lady.

"Pest, it would be good if you know your place."

When the men in black hear the voice, it startled them at first, then they pose a protective stance.

When they saw the woman, they were chasing in his arms, for a couple of seconds, it stunned them. After regaining their senses, a killing intent exuded from their bodies.

The unfazed man just lowered his eyes and saw the woman sleeping in his arms, a warm and tender smile re-surged.

Fortunately, his back was facing Shin, the shadow. If he saw his master's expression, he could've fainted on the spot.

"If you came from the other side of the human's border… it means that you are a beast. While we are good, hand over the woman. If you don't, don't blame us for being rude." Spoke the leader to the man.

"Yes, you've to be sensible. Our leader has spoken." Spouted another man.

"So, you think I would hand over the woman who will become my future? Are you really asking for that?" The man holding the lady spoke.

His voice sounded like a beast from hell, making the men in black clothes shiver.

"Are you nuts! How can a human being be together with a humanoid beast!?" The angry leader spits out his words.

"Give us the princess, while we're asking nicely." Another man in black spoke slowly.

"You are not worthy of being in her presence. And not worthy even to claim her life." After saying this, the man holding the lady stopped talking.

His purple eyes turn golden and an ancient voice came out of his lips, "Shall thee become the most despised creature in thy life. Shall thy death be like the grossest in the human world."

After speaking, he strode forward. The men in black's bodies shook. And many screams fill the darkness.

Shin was seeing his master venturing into the human's place, and a sigh escaped from his mouth. Then he diverted his sight to the 'men in black', and now they were far from being called humans, more like a waste of trash with eyes, mouth, nose, and blood.

'What did you do to my master? It seems it was something to make him angry to the point of using the spell to disfigure you and die like a piece of sh*t'
