Chapter 16: 15: *Crack*

Now Now Now, this is my own novel, isn't it? Since it is, why was such an uncharacteristic setting added to this Sh*tty novel? It's stupid and straightforward, actually; I felt like it. Yes, I felt like adding some balance into the novel. Correct, balance in a Novel with an overpowered protagonist.

Thus, due to that decision, I will not be able to use this skill rashly.

*Internal sigh*

Looking at Jonathan again with a squint, Various thoughts about this guy came to my mind; Jonathan was actually supposed to be a mid-story side boss in the Vampire ark of my novel. This guy was supposed to be a Chess piece planted by the Ose family; a demon family ranked 57; they are very notorious for deceiving people and making them do as they please through deception. They gave various promises and favours that made even the lowest of the low beggar feel like a king. Moreover, You would always see an Ose descendent as the thing that you desired most.

For example, Suppose you are obsessed with authority and are insecure about yourself. In that case, You will see an Ose descendent as a demon with a man with a handsome bearing and adorned with a crown and had an aura of majesty.

And this pitiable little guy called Jonathan was tricked by them about making him the 6th Vampire king. It might seem far-fetched for any other race, but it was totally normal for Vampires. Yes Normal! Because Vampires, although being considered half-dead due to most of their bodily functions being controlled by mana; and going into hibernation when low in mana, were all subdued by demons as a subordinate race.

Their relationship ran so deep that the previous Progenitor of the Dracula race was beaten into submission and turned into a butler for the current Demon king.

Oh, as if that wasn't humiliating enough, he was slapped throughout every planet in the Vampire territory by the maniac of a demon king. Yeah! that action had not only caused the Progenitor to be fully submissive, but it had also even caused the entirety of the Vampire race to be scared by the name of a Noble Demon. Oh, what was that? Sin-demons? Every Fu*king race will show at least a bit of disgust when hearing of a Sin demon. You can ask even a sentient monster, and you will get the same answer, disgust!

Disgust because they were the cause of many massacres that occurred since time immemorial. They were the cause of many races being degraded to mere monsters from a proper race. And more importantly, They look hideous! Like Hideous Hideous! At the very least, Noble demons have a bit of a humanoid appearance. As for Sin demons, Large mass of tumours, Big bugs, Deformed limbs, Spikes throughout the body, you name a nightmare! They have something better! The only Sin demons that are somewhat bearable are those related to either Lust or Pride. Former though being bearable, the leading cause of disgusting nightmarish Sin-demons.

Actually, now that I think about it, Aren't my memories about the novel a bit too vivid? Unlike other memories, consisting of indistinct faces with no emotional connection, my memories related to any knowledge were very striking. So striking that if anyone asked me to recite 1,000,000 digits of pi, I would be able to with a bit of difficulty. The difficulty lies in not being able to speak continuously for that long.

But in sheer honesty, most of that knowledge is garbage to me, someone who has currently been transmigrated to my very own futuristic novel, with the emphasis being on the word 'future.'

Do you know how agonizing it is? Calculus, something which was supposed to be taught in high school, is currently being taught to middle-schoolers! As for what is presently being taught in class, don't ask me! I don't know either!

Steering back to the main issue, I accessed the situation and realized that many changes had taken place. The arrival of reinforcement, Drugged Hulkish vampires, and subsequent co-operation.

I just stared at all of this, calculating how I could be the greatest winner of this internal conflict. While I was thinking, a certain vampire near me seemed to have been thrown by the Hulkish Vampire Oni.

*Stab*

*Rattle*

'Fu*kas Muther of sh*tas!'

'&$%!/%431764(1!'

A Fu*king sabre stabbed just beneath my crotch, Scaring me half to death. Slowly moving my hips, I felt my pants being tugged, stuck in place by the tip of the sabre. Channelling my mana into my dick, I tried to feel my third leg and my precious ancestral jewels.

*Sigh*

Not caring if anyone else had heard it, I sighed. Thankfully, my precious Excalibar and its guard hadn't been damaged.

...

'Well it seems that I've realized another use of mana.'

I thought to myself as I saw my little dragon become a heavenly pillar due to mana it just got infused with.

Bitterly smiling inside, I pulled the mana back, and the pillar disappeared.

Despite the minor incident that just happened, I had my full attention on these vampires, and I was very amazed and satisfied by these vampires. Looking at the co-operation they had displayed, an inkling of a hazy plan was outlined in my mind.

'If everything goes according to the plan... I might be the biggest winner of this incident.'

*Smirk*

A slight smirk outlined my... Honestly! Average face, by this world's standard. That smirk soon grew to be a full-blown smile as I saw the rotund figure come and help Catherine along with a few more. More so, when Jonathan was actually pushed towards me.

But the more that happened, I realized something very crucial...

'How do I go about this plan?'

Yes, that was my concern as I realized that my plans were actually based on Jonathan's death by my hand. As for how?...

Sir... that's the problem, I didn't think of anything!

*Twitch*

Stopping the urge to facepalm myself, I frantically tried to think of something with a twitching eyebrow: and within a few moments, I realized something...

'I cant kill this guy!'

Not without some drastic actions like burning almost all my vitality; the technique for which is honestly so bad that even my status bar didn't want to show it.

'No No No, think of something fast... That's it!'

looking at the slightly peaking snake-like tattoo on my right hand, I, without a shred of hesitation, poured all of my mana into it, except for the amount required to stay in my human form. The amount of mana that I had just poured into the chain, unbeknown to me, was already beyond 4-star by volume. But that is a story for another time.

...

As soon as my mana was poured onto, the tattoo vanished in the blink of an eye, replaced by the darn chain. As soon as it did, I immediately realized some of the things I could do, like being able to control this chain as long as my mana was in it, being able to turn it invisible for anyone else besides me; but most importantly, being able to partially seal a 4-star rank individual.

'Hmmm, this is somewhat under expectations but not so bad. Not bad at all.'

With my squinted eyes flashing, I slowly made the chain, now invisible to everyone else, into a loop beside me. Then I slowly picked up the sabre between my thighs and threw it aside. After which, a pitch-black sabre materialized on my hand with a slight spacial distortion that went unnoticed by everyone else.

"Shhhh"

I took a slow deep breath and waited like a predator in the wild for the right moment. A few minutes later, the opportunity which I was looking for... came!

Jonathan, slightly injured, put some distance between him and the others unbeknown to the calamity which was about to befall him.

*Clench*

The chain wrapped around one of this guy's legs as he, distracted, tried to pull out an odd-coloured liquid and try to pour it down his throat.

Not waiting for even a second, I invoked 'Vitality buring.' I didn't know how much I was burning; I just tried to burn half.

As the technique was invoked, I felt a slight heat throughout my body as every mitochondria in my body released energy. I was equal to that of a nuclear bomb. I could obliterate everything and everyone in this warehouse. Still, due to my unfamiliarity with this technique, I didn't realize that most of the energy that I had just conjured travelled back into my body. Fusing with my bones and muscles as if to give me a boost.

The world around me slowed, slow enough to be able to even see minor details like dust particles and moisture in the air. So slow that a second felt like a minute

*Slash*

With all my strength, I, with all my might, used one of the foundational techniques of my sword art, 'Horizontal Slash.' Yes, 'Horizontal Slash.' Why?

*Mental Cough*

It's because this is the only one which suits the situation. Yes suits the situation! Totally not because I can't use any flashy heaven-shaking moves. Absolutely not!

But, even I hadn't realized how fast that slash was. I was so fast that even I, the one who executed it, could barely see it.

*Crack*
