Chapter 1: Chapter 47 Sabotage
Tia Agaia | On Earth, Utah, West Valley City 2207 Late January
Winter snow that had piled up from the recent storm now has been shoved away by the machines that clears the way for all the citizens to drive on streets and sidewalks to walk on. Seeing people going about their business daily walking as Tia watches through a window stool that is wide enough to sit on as she listens to her nephews talking about deadlines as they packed their stuff. Isaac and Abel are talking while they finish packing their own duffel bags.
"I am surprised that our mother allowed us to be with our aunt after New Years nearly the end of the month." Abel placed his duffer bag on the bed.
"Well, I am not sure it is more like 'Preoccupied' as she was planning for something and even father had been called in for emergency business out of the blue." Isaac is unsure with that answer.
"Well, that is cool, I guess our parents need time away from us."Abel cheerfully spoke.
"Let's continue with our training so we can prepare ourselves." Isaac is determined to further himself in training.
Tia could not help to feel glad and guilty being with her own nephews; she never had interacted with her own family for nearly thirty-seven years. She was so disconnected she never knew that her own sister Rosita had a husband and children of her own until five years ago. She did not think Rosita would go back to the world even in this state, yet there something about this place is strange yet has an isolated feeling to it.The Rocky Mountains have a very spiritual nature to it which perhaps might have something being away from the city and densely populated area. Very reminiscent of their old home planet that had a mountain range Rosita always enjoys scenery viewing Rosita does not like crowded cities and people.
It is quite the opposite for Tia, she enjoys being around people and being around densely cityscapes especially at night. However, she had not been in good graces with her sister since that fateful day. Tia decided that she had to visit their mother right now as she knocked on the door in Isaac's and Abel's room.
"Isaac and Abel, may I come in?" Tia asking permission to come in.
"Sure thing auntie Tia." Abel replied.
Tia entered the room where the boys had finished packing up their personal belongings as this room looked very cleaned and cleared out. She could not help to ponder that in a few months she could never imagined being their aunt that some regard had changed her perspective. Isaac and Abel were waiting for their aunt's response as they noticed that their aunt was spacing out.
"Sorry, I had numerous things in my mind. So, I want you both to arrive early to the site immediately." Tia orders her nephews.
"Is it supposed to be tonight that we must be there?" Abel recalled the deadline.
"Why so early, we could have waited until nine. It is only six o' clock. Maybe we could do some training before heading out there." Isaac suggests it to her aunt.
"I am well aware of that. There was a last minute thing I had to do before heading out to the site. Don't worry there are people out there that are supervising the area so you two won't be alone." Tia persuaded them.
Isaac and Abel did what their aunt told them to do as they headed out to the site where the ruined old Elementary school that is still undergoing repairs. Since they have spiritual abilities they use hyper speed to get over there so they do arrive there early.Tia could not be more proud that they had learned so much three months ago.Tia went outside as the sky was grey because of winter storm has begun to snow heavily as the residents are inside enjoying the warmth of their homes. Tia took a minute to breathe in the cold air as she Spirit Flitted. Was there at Rosita's home in mere nano second.
The house is modestly small; the snow in the front lawn had piled up two inches relatively untouched as well their parkway and porch had been unshoveled. Tia dreads visiting her sister after not seeing her for so many years. There was an overwhelming feeling of anxiety and fear pouring like a waterfall as her senses are running accelerant despite her breathing calmly as well the cold winter snow breezing upon her face as every step on the stair is intensified by her emotions.
At last she reached her destination at the electronic door as she pressed on the doorbell that had an advanced camera and scanner check her on whoever rang the doorbell. As the door had an automatic voice message to Tia.
"Apologies, the residents of the Tatsuya family are not home at the moment or currently do not want anyone to bother them at this time. Please leave a brief message of the reasoning of your visit after the beep."After the automatic message had finished there came a beep.
"Hi...this is your sister Tia Agaia...I wanted to talk to you about your sons that will be heading out for a journey. I wanted to let you know your sons will be in good hands and hoped we would talk more together about it so...That all wanted to let you know so… goodbye."Tia sighed awkwardly after she left the message.
When she turned around to leave, she was struck in the face. She went toppling down the stairs as she landed on the cold snow. From that hit on her stinging check on her face she felt a bitter anger from that as oriented herself as Rosita appeared before her. The snow as it was laying on the snow printed was cold but her sister's anger was colder than the snow. Rosita is extremely displeased with not only her showing up on her property also very much in a state of anger right now.
"Tia you abhorrent excuse of a sister I will not forgive you until the day I die!"Rosita scowls at her threateningly.
Tia stood up very confused about what else she would not forgive her for. Rosita unapologetically slapped her across the face that fuddled her greatly showing strong resentment as Tia's ears are ringing as she winces in pain.
"You had gone done involving MINE CHILDREN with your problems and Observers without telling me by binding them to an Oath Covenant! That prevents them from breaking their promises. The only thing they can break is through death or fulfilling their promise....now there is nothing I can do to change that due to my negligence but there is going to be hell to pay!" Rosita harshly told her sister.
Tia wants to explain everything about the New Messenger but Rosita ignores her but her eyes are filled with ill intent.
"For this day forward my sister had already died on Edom this 'thing' get out or I will murder you!" Rosita's Observer eyes spiraled with hatred toward her sister.Tia vanished with shame as Rosita stood with frustrations with everything as she had to call in some favors and she did not have much time.

In Utah the group of Observers and Lenios went to the construction site where the elementary school got destroyed. They placed the veil so normal humans will temporarily forget this place and pass through without an incident. At that moment Isaac, Abel, and Leo are astounded to be back here as they never thought that they would never think they were going back here after all these months.
"Never thought we would come back to a dumpster." Leo comments on the ruins of the old elementary school.
"Yeah supposed conspiracy that this was a bomb that set off that created chain reaction leveled the entire school. In my opinion a meteorite had hit the school." Isaac sitting on a workbench.
"Who knows, no bomb would tear off on the metal floor that is sitting over there.It has been a fight."Abel pointed at that magnetic crane as well, seeing the ruins.
Whatever had happened the people or terrorists are no longer here; they had left a wrecked place that was their place of education and where they hung out with their friends and classmates. Griff, Florian, and Eklind were talking with Observers and Lenios group who are setting up the tediously setting up Ne-Kai and Ni-Kai kanjis sealing formula that had been working on for months and had been carefully calibrated with the writing from the men and women worked tirelessly.
Tia did show up eventually on time Isaac and Abel were wondering what she did especially when her face was puffy eyed.
"It was an e-emotional d-day as well as taking care of the unfinished business well." Tia made an excuse as she stumbled a bit upon her words.
"We wanted to say goodbye to our parents before we went to see the Messenger."Isaac asked for permission.
"They were not home right now. I had made reservations for messages as well…"Tia still feeling raw from earlier.
Isaac had already noticed that his mother is openingly hostile about Tia for some time now. He truly wonders why his mother and his aunt had never spoken about their past as if there was a blood feud between them.Maybe as Isaac thought once the vortex portal had traced the Messenger and reached the destination he was going to confront her aunt about it.
"Man freezing my blitz off here when will they finish the mathematical pie."Leo complains which caught everyone off guard and an unattended good joke.
Albeit that Florian seems too distracted to pay attention to Leo's jokes for her mind is worried about her premonition. Eklind and Griff had taken notice of this and asked if she was doing alright.
"Florian, are you worried? You seem to be distracted about something and you, regardless of visiting your grandchildren, should leave you at ease." Griff is attempting to ease her worrying companion.
"Yes, I should be in a lighter mood. I just can't shake off this feeling of even saying goodbye to my family afterward." Florian shook her head in doubt.
"Florian, we had prepared for everything and no one will know the purpose of this place nor know what we are doing here."Eklind reassured her as she placed her hand on the shoulder.
Griff seems to frown about the quote on quote "no one knows their purpose" it would not be the first time that there had been compromises and the veil had been disruptive against them by Tani Dark to make them unaware of her. It would be foolish to be not cautious; he took her warning with great consideration. Once the Observers and Lenios finished writing they had these men and women wearing these robe attire that are six men and six women to go into position of the engraved kanjis that are encircled.
As they have this Messenger's residual spiritual energy as their center of focus while are from the Observer and Lenios sects.They chant from their respected language as repetitiously "We seek thee with all our hearts." as one of the guards of the Lenios sect who has shaggy black hair with olive green jacket approaches Isaac, Abel, and Leo.
"They have to chant like this for the next ten minutes for the nonstop or otherwise it will not work." Explained Lenios guard.
Isaac, Abel, and Leo complain about how long this annoying chant is ringing in their ears. Eklind explains the reason they need to be repetitive chants for concentration of location on Messenger.
"If they don't do what they do.Not only it would set back months to try again we only have one shot for this because of the scarcity of this peculiar Messenger's spiritual energy." Florian is very concerned about that.
There one of the chanters dropped dead which sent a shock to the entire group. Griff told them not to stop the chant as the guards went to protect them. Tia and Eklind went to protect Isaac, Abel, and Leo from potential attacks while Griff and Florian drew out their spiritual weapons. There was uncomfortable hostility in the air as they used their spiritual senses to try to detect the assailants.
There is a problem: the veil surrounding them, their spiritual senses will be difficult to detect clearly and will be very hazy to them.
"See anything?"Griff asks sharply to Florian as he actively searches for the intruders.
"Unfortunately no."Florian alert as she felt a murderous intent in the air.
Some guards got killed in the flash with their throats slash out as they gurgled from their own blood as they dropped to the floor with a solid metallic clung. Which angers Griff seeing his fellow brethren and sisters got slain while he could not pinpoint the assassins. Eklind and Tia are on high alert while assailants in spiritual concealment had made an attempt to capture Isaac and Abel. Eklind sensed brief nervousness and quickly dispatched the person as Tia swiftly grabbed the boys out of harm's way.
The boys were clearly frightened as their Aunt told them sternly "Follow my direction and stay behind me at all times." Isaac and Abel silently nodded and stayed behind their aunt.
Distraction was happening as more assailants killed the chanters as well the guards. Griff uses a spiritual barrier around the remaining chanter left: there were four remaining three women and one man.The chanters wanted to break down because their friends and families had died before them. Elkind managed to to detect two more and use a spiritual dispel to force them to reveal themselves. The revealing was quite shocking as the assailants show a woman wearing a stealth suit as well as her colleagues.
"Condemnation!" The woman cursed as she was forced to remove her cowl to reveal her face.
It was revealed to be Rosita as their bewilderment was warranted as Isaac and Abel could not believe it nor did Leo.
"Rosita?!" Tia in despair of this.
"MOM?!" Isaac and Abel shout union.
"Your mom is hot!" Leo ogling her.
"SHUT UP LEO!" Everyone shouts in unison with the exception of the chanters although the feeling is mutual.
Isaac and Abel recognize their mother as Isaac demands to know what is going on while there was awkwardness between Rosita and her children.
"Tia you knew her? Were you on this treachery!?" Griff angrily accused Tia.
"I AM NOT PART OF THIS SCHEME!" Tia defended herself.
Rosita looked sadly at her children, "Isaac and Abel please come with me. You two do not have to go on this futile mission that will only result in death and suffering." Rosita persuades her children.
Isaac and Abel are lost for words as they are going toward their mother without realizing as Tia curses by activating her Observer's eyes to counter her sister's Observer's eyes. Both of their eyes while their Observer's eyes have unique patterns that make them distinct individuals. Isaac and Abel are out of the trance and regain control of their senses feeling a bit hazy while Leo speaks quietly.
"I do not know about you two but, let's get to the cover man."Leo whispers to Isaac and Abel.
They went to hide behind the huge construction vehicles, seeing if they even attempted to help them, they would only get in the way of these experienced fighters as they watched from a safe distance. The last remaining chanters as the circle engravings illuminating with pulse like waves as the vortex portal begin to manifest as pulsing waves. Griff had sustained some injuries while fending off Rosita's assassins while Florian and Eklind were protecting the last remaining chanters.
Griff uses a spiritual weapon that is twin scimitar blades to counter the assassin's relentless coronated attacks. Griff backflips as the two assassins swiftly sprint toward him with their assassin daggers going vertical slash his vitals. As their blades clash sparks as every impact creates metallic reverberate sounds as Griff pushes back against them. The assassins vanish immediately as Griff is on the ground getting sharp cuts as it divides some of the remainder of the old ruined building as well some work fences get diced instantly.
Once there was no more acceleration movements Griff return from the plane of existence there was two assassins severely incapacitated as their tendons muscles were deeply cut. Griff could not help feeling that he could not believe these assassins gave him a difficult time of fighting because of their cheap tactics and advantage of the veil. Griff did not dwell upon it as he went to help Florian and Eklind against the other assassins. Griff rushes despite his injuries as his regeneration is slowed because he was inflicted by the assassin's spiritual weapon his body is physically weakened as well his spirit is impeded to certain degree.
Tia is fighting her own sister with great turmoil because her nephews are watching her fighting as they use spiritual abilities as they summon powerful elements such as icicles and flames that created very hot steams all over that heat is so intense that melt part of structures of the metal floor as well iced over some surface. There were layers of spikes of ice that looked like ice sculptures like oceanic waves. Rosita sidekicks Tia's stomach as sent her back skidding as she withstood it as waves of shockwaves that burst of air breezing harshly.Rosita and Tia intensely watch one another actions that each time they clashes with their blades as sparks like a hammer struck a hot metal.
Rosita is relentless with her strikes as they go faster and precise moves like fluid water that carve stone with smoothness as Tia did not want to do this that she is holding back from fighting her especially kill her. There was an opening that she took advantage of Tia's hesitation as she angled her dagger to make her sister stagger from her blinding speed. Rapid down thrusting with all her anger as Tia tries to deflect the blows from which made one fatal mistake she could not take her vicious attacks as her hands go numb. Mooncrest slash cut deeply on Tia's chest as blood blurts out with an agonizing scream as fell to her back.
Before Tia could even recover Rosita pinned her down while holding the halt of the dagger with both of her hands that death is very much assured "This is the end." As Rosita was ready to down plunge the blade to Tia's heart.
"STOP MOM DON'T KILL HER!"Isaac and Abel scream in horror.
Because of Rosita her sons' voices show their horror as she stops midway as a strong gust of wind stops as she turns to see them. Seeing that her sons are viewing her as a monster more than her sister which greatly ashamed her. Tia breathing rapidly with her mind racing in the heat of the moment cut her own sister's arm off. Rosita was in a state of shock as stood stumbling away from Tia as cold winter air exposed the hole of her once arm, freezing her warmth of body.
Then a bright vortex portal is fully formed as some bright spatial light appears as Griff, Florian, and Eklind take care of the rest of the assailants. They turn and see it in astonishment in all its glory as Isaac, Abel, and Leo go twenty feet near the vortex portal while giving off an eerie sound.
"Whoa…"Leo stood there marveling in amazement.
Rosita uses her Observers' eyes power by using telekinesis on Isaac, Abel, and Leo to push them toward the vortex portal as she uses the last remaining strength to use veil manipulation on them to make them forget their teachers and even recent events. Though Isaac,Abel, and Leo retain from all the things they were taught four months ago. As they went through the portal without their teacher with the realization it was too late the portal closed off for good.
"NO WAIT!"Griff screamed for them as he stood helplessly.
"Chanters do it again and restart it!"Eklind went to one of the women survivors.
"It is too late and we have no more of the Messenger's spiritual energy anymore; it is over."The woman sobs for her dead family member.
"CURSES ALL TO THE OBLIVION!" Florian curses and slams her fist to the ground.
"Heh..heh...heh...I guess I will get the last laugh--"Rosita smiled with complete complacency as she passed out from blood loss.
Griff, Florian, and Eklind went to help Tia and especially help Rosita for she will have valuable assets for information about knowing about who set up an attack and possibly find a traitor who sold them out. Answering their failures to the council is the least of their worries; they do not know where the boys' location let alone even begin to know their fates; they could be dead all for they know.
