Chapter 2: Departure
"Are there any humans in this world." "Yes there is a town a few miles north of here." Then Sam and shadow where walking when Sam said "This is a good time to test my increased speed." Sam started running and seconds later he was at the town.
He was glad that there was people but was surprised by the different kinds of mystical beings that where there. So many that it made shadow look normal. He was also suprised by his speed he covered miles in seconds.
Suddenly four notifications popped up (New task: Defeat a human 700 points, Kill a human 2,000 points, Defeat mystical being 1,200, Kill mystical being 3,400.) He still had the old task but this new one was may seem good but was pretty bad. Unless he had good reason there was no need to fight people and he could not go around killing people. So he would just have to continue with the old task.
What Sam needs to do is get some currency and get some food. He was quite hungry from all this excitement. Sam started walking through town. He asked someone if there where any way's to make some money. "Yes there is the killman registration office." "What is a killman." "Where have you been! How could you not know what a killman is that goes beyond town borders and hunt monsters. A killman can also take private jobs. 1 monster of the first level can get you $1,000. The rewards of task will vary do to the task."
After hearing this he started walking towards the registration office. Surprisingly it was really normal. Even the firm was normal it just asked for things line name, bloodtype, etc. So he was surprised he then turned in the form and asked "Where in the town border." "About 100 yards east of here." When saying this she handed Sam a metal coin the size of his thumb. "You'll need this to get through the border."
Town east border...
There is a guards post at the border. "Passage coin?" The guard asked. Sam handed the guard the coin. "Pass" The guard said.
Sam walked out the border. After two minutes he was being attacked by tigers. Although he could defeat them he still was terrified what he had in strength he lacked in battle experience. This was his first battle and when Sam relized the importance of this he maned up.
He summoned two knives and flawlessly murded the four tigers that where attacking him. In total he earned about 12,000 point this was the most he gained so far and he was ready to spend them. when he was going to spend the point a screen appeared (You can also use the points to upgrade your skills)
"Ok I'll distibute 200 points between my stats. Then use 5,000 to by skills and keep the rest

He then carried the bodies of the tigers back to the office "Here" Sam said to the panting to the man who takes the bodies for the rewards. "Kid! how did you get all of these on your own! The man exclaimed" "I killed them how else" Sam responded. "You have the skills to go to the academy." "The academy?" Sam asked confused. The man pointed to a very tall building in the distance that looked like it was made of marble.
"The academy is a school where rich families send their kids to learn martial arts, but if strong enough even the poor can go there. and with all this it looks like you will most definitely be able to go there. Just go and ask for a strength test and you will just spar with the test manager"
Sam decided it was best if he took a shower first ge reaked of the smell of blood. He collected his $4,000 and went to the nearest hotel. The hotel was in pretty good condition and was only $2 a night which was amazing.
After his shower Sam went to the academy and asked for a test. "You will fight with number 5" The guard told him. He was then escorted to a large corridor, in the middle of the corridor was a bronze muscular man with a t-shirt with a large number five on it.
"You ready to go down boy" the man said with a southern accent. "Are you" Sam responded. "Cocky one aren't 'ya." Sam then lifted his palm to the man and shot a bullet of condensed eccense.
The man instantly collapsed. "Paramedics!" The guard that was still behind Sam called out, he was astonished by how fast he defeated number five. "Did I make it in?" Sam asked the guard. "Yes your classes will start in a few hours take the door on the far side"
Behind the door was a large emaculate hallway that lead to two large double doors. Behind the doors where crowds of students walking everywhere.
"Finally people my age mabey learn some fighting techniques without the system."
