Chapter 1: THE START
Klein was walking down the street when he died. Very Simple. Klein was buff. He really liked comics and superhero shows. He wanted to be strong, stronger than anyone else. So at the age of 16, he set off on a journey to break his limits.
Now he was 21 and he was strong. He had fought with many strong men, always beating them. He beat them why? Because he was a person who was willing to embrace his inner demon. He didn't resist, if he thought he would lose, he would act like a crazy barbarian and come out at the top, no matter what.
Klein had trained and trained but he didn't see any progress in these past years. He always imagined one day, he would break his limits like people in One Punch Man and become strong. Strong enough to take on the entire world all by himself.
Strong enough, to destroy this poisonous world to pieces.
Klein once again opened his eyes but this time he felt different. He felt something was new. He suddenly stood up and looked around, he had this weird feeling in his head.
He felt suffocated, he then realized he had actually stopped breathing. He opened his mouth, which felt very different, and gasped heavily as the air entered his lungs.
Suddenly, memories started appearing inside his brain. Born as Klein Men, an orphan who didn't know anything about his parents. A normal person living in Central City. Normal until some months ago.
Klein was a coffee shop worker when he was hit by a shock-wave which gave him powers. At first, his power was his eyes shining. He thought it was pretty useless until he met the flash.
When the flash was running around he suddenly heard a mechanical voice in his head.
[ POTENTIAL STONE ACTIVATED: ADDING POWERS: BOMB SPEED FORCE]
Then he gained the powers the flash had but it was stronger, stronger than any speedster.
But there was a problem he had no suit, nor did he know how the speed force worked.
And now he was in a prison created for evil metahumans.
Klein felt everything was unreal. He questioned if he was in a dream or was he living reality? Had his plea been heard by the gods? Then suddenly, he heard a voice in his head.
[ POTENTIAL STONE: NEW POTENTIAL HOST SELECTED.]
" Is that the system? " Klein questioned himself and decided to ask some questions.
" Hey, system are you there? " he asked without talking, he guessed he could speak with the system telepathically.
[ YES, WHAT IS YOUR GOAL? ]
Was there a need to think? He answered almost immediately " Become the strongest "
[ HOST'S DESIRE DISCOVERED. POTENTIAL SYSTEM VERSION 1 UNLOCKED ]
" Huh, what was that? " Klein questioned. He didn't fully understand what the system was going on about but he got the gist of it . The system seemed to have updated.
" So I am in a prison? " Klein looked around and he didn't really have much space to do anything.
Klein then suddenly got an idea, weren't speedsters supposed to phase through walls once they vibrated their molecules at atomic levels? He decided to try it out when,
[ NOT RECOMMENDED. AS SOON AS YOU GET OUT OF THIS PRISON, YOU WILL IMMEDIATELY GET CAUGHT. ]
" I thought I had super speed too? " he asked.
[ YOU DO. YOUR SOUL HAS MERGED WITH THE PREVIOUS KLEIN AND NOW YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO TAP INTO THE ENERGY THAT RESTS WITHIN ANOTHER DIMENSION WHICH CANNOT BE ASSESSED BY ANYONE OTHER THAN YOURSELF. IT CONNECTS TO A DIMENSION WHERE EVERYTHING IS WAY STRONG THAN THEY SHOULD BE IN REAL WORLD. THE BOMB SPEED FORCE HAS MANY LEVELS EVEN THE POTENTIAL STONE CANNOT COMPREHEND. BUT YOU ARE WAY FASTER THAN ANY SPEEDSTER IN EXISTENCE, BUT THE PROBLEM IS YOU CAN'T REALLY USE THE POWER SINCE IT'S TOO MUCH FOR YOU TO CONTAIN. SO YOUR ABILITY TO DRAW ENERGY FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION HAS BEEN BLOCKED. INSTEAD HERE IS A STARTER PACK ]
Klein was assessing the information given by the system when suddenly something popped into existence in front of him. It was a small wooden box. He crouched down and opened the lid of the wooden box, then the box suddenly disappeared leaving him and two items that fell down from the box.
One was a injection, but there was no liquid, instead lightning was dancing around inside the injection and the other item was a green suit.
[ THE INJECTION IS THE INJECTION FILLED WITH SPEED FORCE, WHICH WILL LET YOU BUILT A CONNECTION TO THE SPEED FORCE AS STRONG AS BARRY ALLEN ]
Klein didn't wait and hurriedly picked the injection and stabbed the injection into his arm. Suddenly, Klein's body started releasing white electricity. His eyes went white for a second before returning to normal and he started vibrating at super speed.
" I feel powerful " Klein clenched his fist and felt the lightning coursing through his body.
He then looked at the green suit and was going to pick it up when as soon as he touched the suit, it started to stick to Klein's body and the green armor instead of being cloth like it was very hard.
Klein looked around and found that he could see without any hindrance.
[ Hello host! ]
A voice came from inside the suit and Klein was sure it wasn't the system since the thing that just spoke to him had a female voice.
[ I am an in-built A.I of your suit ]
" Wow, so you are like Gideon? " Klein still remembered Gideon and couldn't help but feel amazed. Reverse Flash possessed Gideon, Klein had found it really awesome.
[ I am way smarter ]
Klein suddenly stopped thinking. His A.I spoke as if it had feelings.
" So you have feelings? " Klein asked.
[ Yes. My name is Martha ]
" Ok Martha we are partners from now on. So tell me the suit function " Klein obviouly wanted to know what his suit could do.
[ Yes host, we are partners. I can store any information you want. I have extensive knowledge about the speed force and warn you when enemies are approaching. Those are my normal functions. I have more, we can figure that out later. We should get out of here ]
" Ya, we should " Klein said as he started vibrating. He had seen the flash and knew that he simply had to shake his body to bypass this wall.
He started shaking his molecules at super speed and walked towards the left. He walked towards the walls and closed his eyes. He opened his eyes again and realized that he was in a lab of some sort.
He looked around and saw a brown-skinned guy with short hair. The guy looked at him stunned before he felt something hit his suit. He turned around and a girl who had blue eyes and was radiating cold stood there with her hands raised towards him.
The ice that was meant to freeze him suddenly melted away as if nothing happened.
" Hey Martha do you think I can control my speed? " Klein asked doubting he could control his new found speed. Klein hadn't noticed yet but his green suit had already turned white and looked like it was made of steel.
[ No but the suit and I can help you. You want to fight them or just go? ]
" Not now, I don't know when the Flash will arrive and seeing that Caitlin has already unlocked her powers, he must already be fairly experienced now with using the speed force. Let's not take chances and go " he immediately started running and felt that time had totally slowed down. He vibrated at super speed and phased through every wall that in Star Labs.
He had closed his eyes when passing through the walls but soon he found that he was running, on the air. There were no clouds but he noticed that as he took a step forward suddenly a transparent glass would appear below his feet.
" Hey Martha, is this your doing? " Klein asked
[ Of course ] Martha replied proudly.
" Then let's go " Klein said as he descended into the ground and started running.
Yellow lightning followed where ever he went and he was confused why this was happening.
" Hey Martha, why am I slow? " He asked.
[ Most of your cells have been strengthened by the bomb speed force making you faster than any speedster in the existence. Every step you take might break the space-time barrier. So the suit is limiting your speed. You should train with yellow lightning first. One more advice, don't take off the suit too frequently, you might just get too powerful. ]
He didn't know what that meant but he decided to run without asking some questions. He again hadn't noticed but his suit had turned bright yellow.
