Chapter 87: Looking for a wife (Unedited)

AYAN'S POV

"Mummy don't hurt me please," Teon begged in his sleep as he writhed around in his sheets.

My eyes widened in shock. He was having a nightmare about his mother beating him.

Concerned I quickly tried to think of a way to calm him down, I got off the bench and got closer to him.  I placed my hand in his hair and slowly began to caress him.

"Sshh, it's okay Teon," I whispered softly to him, trying to soothe him. "It's okay,"

Soon he stopped wriggling and his eyes fluttered open. For a moment I thought I'd woken him up. However, he seemed to be dazed as his eyes lazily landed on me.

"Mummy? Is that you?" He asked me in a quiet sleepy voice. From that, I could tell he was still half asleep.

"It's alright, you're fine, go back to sleep," I gently told him as I continued to caress him.

His eyes soon began to close and open again.  "M-mummy don't hate me. I'm so--" he said as he slowly began to drift off again.
