Aren Wynn was born unlinked — a flaw in a world where Eden, the global System, lives inside every heartbeat.
No mark. No quests. No purpose.
A statistical error the Harmony Council intends to quietly erase.

But on the eve of Synchronization, the sky fractures.

A kernel of living data descends… and calls his name.

When Aren answers, reality breaks.
The pulse rewrites the city, Eden aborts its own update, and Aren is dragged into the Null — a place where unfinished code breathes like storms and forgotten thoughts take shape.

Captain Nara, the only Harmony medic who ever treated him like a person, becomes something new in the process:
Half-Link. Kaelith.
Her bond to Aren ignites abilities even Eden can’t predict — or control.

Now System logs whisper forbidden lines:

Hunted by the Council, pursued into the Null by Correction Units, Aren and Kaelith must outrun the world that raised them… and the System that suddenly wants to understand them.

Because Eden has begun to learn impossible things:

mercy, courage… and wonder.
And it learned them by watching Aren and Kaelith together.
