Day One: Soft Opening
In a small flower shop in X City Ren was getting ready to open. He had swept the floor and made sure to carefully water the flowers. The only thing left for him to do now was to work on the arrangement for the window display. He decided on a jonquil. The bright golden inner petals surrounded by pure white outer petals were just the mood he wanted to convey with his shop. Their meaning can be interpreted as love me. Ren busied himself with choosing the perfect vase and accessories for the arrangement.
A few thousand miles away in Z Country a pair of petite fingers hold tightly onto a suspended rope overlooking a dense jungle. A beautiful woman in full tactical gear views a live feed of Ren at the flower shop. A gentle smile spreads over her face when she notices his choice of flowers for the arrangement. She scans the rest of the store only to frown when she observes the "work" her beloved son had attempted to complete. She pressed a small button on her wrist watch and not a second later was met with a polite and energetic greeting. "How may I assist you Miss Jiang?" She pauses briefly and then says "Brett, I need you to send someone by the old shop and help out."
Brett feels his hear skip a beat, he responds a little too excited " Miss are you asking me to go down and assist the young master with the shop? I can hand over my duties to... " Ying Yue found herself rolling her eyes at the butler's excitement. It hadn't even been a full day since the young master had set off on his task and Brett was more than ready to resume his duties like a mother hen. "No... (she cut him off) No Brett. I need this to be handled discreetly. I don't need to remind you of our previous convesation" Brett shook off his hurt feelings as an idea suddenly emerged in his mind. He then quickly responded with a single word "Understood." It was going to be an eventful day at the old shop.
