Chapter 50: Chapter 50: A Dream?
A long time ago, ther- Ok we are not going to do this flashback/backstory thing. Let's get back.
As Godo was starting to feel what really relaxing felt like, he was having the bliss of his life. After a few minutes of 'relaxing', he felt the presence of Shuya coming to the tent and going to sleep, seems like they were finally tired, but then he suddenly wondered. Now that he had sealed his powers, wouldn't he be able sleep with no worry? After some time of some conflicted feelings, he decided to try sleeping.
Quick explanation: If you don't understand what the first sentence meant, I'll explain. So as you know Godo is a deity, or even more so than a deity. So after coming down to the universe with his powers, he had to constantly hold back a frick tons and constantly think about the amount of magic he discharged. Even while he was relaxing, part of him was still focused on holding back his powers. So after sealing off his powers, he was finally able to relax even though he lost almost 99% of his powers, but still he could just unseal them again. So anyway let's get back.
As he slowly felt the feeling of slumber coming to his mind, he fell asleep and dreamt.
In the dream.
Shuya, Godo, Rai, Folaei and some other people whose faces were pitch black, were going up a volcano. After a few moments, he and the others reached the summit of the volcano. The top of the volcano was completely flat, it was really strange as there was no magma at view anywhere. Then they started to look around the summit, when suddenly, a gigantic red dragon suddenly appeared infront of the mountain.
They started to gear up, chanting spells and taking up their weapons. Just as they were about to fight it, the dream went black.
After a few seconds, the dream slowly came back as if he was slowly opening his eyes. After he could completely see again. He saw that they had won against the dragon and had tamed it, then the dragon slowly started to shrink and become a human until finally, it became a human.
Right when the light blocking the body of the dragon was starting to fade, the dream came to an end. Then Godo woke up.
It was around 4 in the morning when Godo woke up. What he thought of right after he woke up was,
"Those were dreams? I can't believe humans always dream of such things like that every night! I wonder. If those dreams can come true. Let's ask the three of them after they wake up."
After having this short line of thought, he stood up then went to the river in the woods. He washed his face and mouth then came back. After that, he took off his coat then started doing some exercises. Then after that, he decided to mix some elements as he was running out of things to do.
So this time, he tried to unify 3 elements again. This time he tried to mix fire, light and dark. After a few bashes and boshes, it came.
The result was a fire, which could shine extremely brightly but also at the same time, eat up the light in the area. It was also a light which burned anything it touched which in the process made the burned area dark, not in the sense of dark ash, but like just dark.
It could also become some kind of a black matter thing which illuminated anything it touched and could burn it as well. So basically, its all just the same.
After he finished observing this, he was kinda surprised that nobody noticed what he was doing. But he also kinda became nauseous and sick. Do you guys want to guess what happened?
Anyway, as he didn't quite grasp what was happening to his body yet, he quickly regained his composure and stood up again. After this happened, his first guess of why this happened was because of the decrease of the skill's level and his mana pool. But he didn't had a clue to prove this so he also left this for another time.
