Tyrion is still shocked that he is alive after that massacre they are calling a battle, it was sheer luck that he made it out alive from there
He and his men were supposed to be vanguard but seeing the retreating northern army the lannisters cavalry charged in front of them to their deaths
He survived because of the mountain clans,this was never their fight to begin with so they ran at the first sight of trouble, at first when the giants came he didn't even understand what was happening all he saw was chaos
When the mountain clans pulled him away from the battlefield he actually saw what happened, Giants! real life 15ft tall giants were charging through lannister army, they were destroying anyone in front of them
Then Jon Snow, the white wolf came charging with cavalry, the boy in all black armour with his huge hammer, the 14-15 nameday old boy turned in to a killing demon on the battlefield, charging at the very front destroying anyone who came in his path,no armour or man could survive a single blow from his war hammer which he wielded like it weighed nothing, Tyrion had never seen anything like that
Then there was the huge white direwolf Ghost that he saw in winterfell, the wolf was peaceful and calm there but on the battlefield he was anything but, the giant beast knocked down or killed any man that tried to regroup the army, he scared the horses to charge right back at the lannisters men, always looking out for the boy, it was amazing to see that level of intelligence from an animal
As things couldn't get any worse he turned to his father staying in the rear, hoping the great Tywin lannister can pull something out of his ass and save the battle but his father retreated instead then the battle was completely lost
He too retreated with the mountain clans and later joined his father's camp, the mood was depressing to say the least even the mountain clans stayed silent without raising any commotion
But things didn't end there in a few days news came that Robb stark captured Jaime and broke the siege in Riverrun, the riverlords are regrouping their armies at Riverrun with the northern forces, as if that was not enough 20,000 vale men are joining forces with the north
With the Robb stark coming from West and Jon Snow from east we were completely fucked
His father and whatever lords that were not captured were discussing what to do
"We should sue for peace, the first priority is to get Ser Jaime back"
"No we can't afford to look weak now"
I knocked over a glass of wine form the table "there is your peace, we saw to that when we sent the mountain to kill the boy at his own nameday tourney, now my sister has kept an injured Eddard stark in the black cells we don't even know if he alive there, you have a better chance at drinking from this cup than peace, they are winning if you haven't noticed"
"THEY HAVE MY SON, OUT ALL OF YOU" his father yelled " not you" he said pointing to me
As I really saw my father up close, I noticed how he looked like he aged years in a single day, this loss clearly got to him
"You are right we could have handled things more peacefully but now there is stupidity and maddness, all these years I thought you were a stunted fool but it appears I was wrong"
"Half wrong,I am new to warfare but we can't stay here"
"Nobody is staying here,I will gather my men and go to harrenhal and you will go to Kingslanding to act as hand in my stead"
"What about the giants ?"
"The walls of harrenhal are many times taller than giants, they won't make any difference there,your sister has lost the Starks like they were a coin purse, you will go to Kingslanding and bring your sister and the boy king to heel, and if you get even a whiff of treason from anyone"
"Yes heads, spikes, wall I am familiar"
Even though things are dire now the Starks can't defeat us until we have kingslanding
But we need allies right now, the tyrells would have been best choice but they are already with Renly, we are getting surrounded by our enemies but no battle is unwinnable
His uncle Stafford Lannister is raising a new army in the West and the Baratheon brothers will fight eachother instead of us until one comes out at the top, if he can get dorne to side with us than they can attack the reach and stromlands from the south
But my father clearly underestimated the stark boys, the young wolf and the white wolf are tearing us apart piece by piece and now the vale has joined their side
The north has the strongest soldiers in the seven kingdoms, no cavalry in seven kingdoms can match the Knights of vale and no one knows the lands of trident better than riverlords
As if that was not enough they have giants on their side but they won't able to do anything at harrenhal, my father can defend against any numbers in harrenhal, even if they want to siege that would take anywhere from months to years ,and no lord would stay out of their lands for that long
Now we can't make any sudden moves , we have to act slowly but surely and he has to go to Kingslanding to handle joffrey, gods he prefers to be in battle to deal with that idiot
My sister has made a right mess of things that now he has to clean
