Regal was reading a book on his Kindle at his house when the screen suddenly changed.

Regal tried to click off the black screen, but he couldn't.
"OMG this looks real af, am I getting transmigrated?"
Regal thought about which world he wanted to go to for a few minutes. "Am I going to get any abilities? Maybe a system?"
The message didn't change 'It's not answering me so I must choose a relatively safe world if I don't get any abilities I can live normally again. Solo Leveling is a good one, If I get OP, I'll stop Sung from re-setting the world and if I didn't, I can live a comfy life in a modern world.'

Everything went black for a second and he found himself in an unknown place. He looks around to see a room like his, albeit a little different.
His eyes land on a brown leather wallet and a stack of paper on top of the desk, he grabs the wallet to see an ID and driver's license with his name on it. Checking the papers it's a rental contract of 3 months. He opens the drawer and finds a phone and a lot of cash.
"I can't believe that I've returned to this place after all of this time" He's now in his home country Algeria. For those ignorant of it, it's a 3rd world country and the biggest landmass in Africa, specifically North Africa. It's rich in natural resources but with a corrupt government, it never bloomed.

"With this, I should be able to become OP." Then Regal checked the skill panel and as expected, it had Gamer Mind and Gamer Body skills, two of the most OP skills there.
Regal was not in a hurry to go out, after all, he must gather information. He used the new phone to search on the internet for gates and he found none.
"Wasn't I supposed to be in Solo Leveling?" He tried to search about history it's almost the same (as Earth) but spotted some differences. "Looks like I transmigrated before the gate opening wtf, I have to wait for at least 10 years before the cannon starts."
"Well, it means more time to get strong after all this is not The Gamer (Manhwa) world, there is no abyss auction here nor a complete magical system."
Regal took a notebook from the desk and a blue pen and wrote everything he remembered about solo leveling universe and the gamer system he had now.
It took him about 2 hours to finish writing the notes 'I feel like some things are missing I'll write them when I remember them.
'The plan for now is to get my stats as high as possible with training and gain as many skills as possible.'
To execute his plan Regal created a very extreme routine, which consists of training, studying, and sleeping.
Regal checked the clock and realized it was 11 AM so he decided to go out and explore the neighborhood. After all, he didn't even know where he was in Algeria, he opened the Google Maps app to see his location it turned out that he was in the capital city of Algier, a bit far from the center but it's nicer than the desert. (which is 80% of the country)
'The internet of 2012 is really slow' Regal took what seemed to be the apartment's keys and went out. (he tried them before leaving ofc)
Regal went down the stairs as there was no elevator for buildings less than 5 floors, taking his first look at the dusty and bit pale surroundings, a dusty smell hit his nose.
"It really never changes" he let out a sigh. Regal took a stroll around the neighborhood before buying some pizza Carré and started searching for a gym nearby.
Gyms were not very popular these days here the nearest gym is about 20 minutes by car, but Regal thought it was perfect to run to the gym every day.
At around 4 pm on his way back to the apartment Regal walked by a sporting goods store it looked fancy, but he went in anyway. He started looking around the store trying to choose which gym outfit he should buy then… ding

On the way he kept spamming the Observation skill he leveled it up 3 times.
His impression of the neighborhood was not very bad. There are essentials close by the house, no drug dealers on the block. Clearly a middle-class residential area, He lived in both far better and worse places back on Earth.
Arriving home regal wanted to test his physical abilities and gamer's body skill, after all, he was a fit man, he never went a week without doing sports mainly running, football, and calisthenics.
Regal went down to do pushups after a few minutes you can see him sweating already "72, 73, 74, 75 oof it's my limit." After catching his breath, he sat down in a meditative pose and started to regulate his breathing. A few minutes later diing…

Regal wanted to test how fast he could get status points with training, so he did the cycle a 2nd time before he got 1 point in vitality making it 18.
"This system is designed for more extreme training, with Gamer's Mind and Body it's wasteful to use it in such a way."
AN: This concludes the first chapter for now, I tried to take it easy on him on the first day and not get directly to the grind.
