Chapter 1: Home

Imagine this, pouring down rain, thundering, lightning shooting across the sky, and very few cars driving down the road. Lightning strikes and all you see is a tall, 2 story building. My siblings didn't like the looks of the house. We waited in the car for a while waiting on the real estate agent. I think we waited for about half an hour until she got there. We all got out of the car and sprinted towards the the back door. We went to the back door because it was closer to the driveway. The real estate lady gave us a key because we had bought it before looking at the house. How stupid, I thought. Surprisingly, I was right. I knew something was wrong with the house but, I just couldn't think of it. My brother didn't like the real estate lady so when she tried to talk to him, he screamed and ran towards my sister and I. My brother always felt safer when he was with my sister and I. He never felt safe when we were with our parents because we all got weird vibes from our parents. We didn't know why we had to move to this new house. Our old house was fine. Our parents didn't like it because there bedroom door didn't lock and ours did.
