Chapter 1: Ch. 1 Locked Up In the Past
I've been stuck in the mortal world for 10,000 years. I'm Hazel, the daughter of Athena and Hades. I have long black hair, fair white skin, and glossy brown eyes. I was kicked out of my home when the man I thought was my real father found out that he wasn't, and murdered my mom. That guy was Poseidon the god of sea and water.
That man sold me to a powerful mortal and ordered him to keep me locked up in the mortal world forever. Poseidon's concubine ( which became his main or first wife later on when he killed my mother) Aphrodite, has a daughter, Ashley. She wanted her daughter to be the most beautiful and powerful goddess in the immortal world, but I stood in the way to her achievement. She convinced Poseidon to send me away, but before he did, she called me to her chambers.
"Hazel, my dear girl, as you see I have come to ask you a very important question."
"Yes madam?"
"I heard that before your mother was killed she left you a ring..."
"..."
I can't let her know my mom has left me her ring, one of the most powerful objects there is. That woman would want to take it from me ..... But what do I do....
"So Hazel did she give you a ring or not!?"
She's starting to get agitated, but I don't want to give her my mom ring, but I have no choice I'm only 10,000 years old.
I looked at her and gave her the most firm voice I had!
"Yes I do have the ring my mother possessed before she died"
"Hahahaha!!!! YES!!!"
"....."
"I can stop playing nice here then.... Now listen and be a good girl and give me that ring now!!!!"
"I can't"
I looked at her, her face was a mix of horror and amusement, her face was starting to turn red, so she yelled which made me twitch a little, just a little.
"What!!!!!"
"You're going to give me that ring right now or else I'm going to toss you into the deepest part of the demon world"
"I just told you I can't!!!"
" My dear mother made sure that when I put the ring on I wouldn't be able to take it off, that means that I can't give it to you"
Aphrodite yelled as hard as she could, I was starting to get scared.
"Get out!!! Somebody get her out of my chambers!!!! Now!!!"
I turn around and see the maids come in hurriedly, taking me by the arms really hard and dragging me away...
I sighed, and so here I am stuck in a crusty, moldy, smelly and old cell. Hanged up by chains on my wrists. I've been stuck here for 10,000 years, that means I'm 20,000 years old, about 20 years old in the mortal world.
I've been through a lot while being here. I am very powerful, but I don't have the energy to fight. The mortals always keep me weak , by hitting me with metal chains on my back, or by leaving me with no food or water for weeks. I am immortal but I can still get hurt. Fortunately for me, wounds heal very fast but the ones that are deep and big leave scars.
I gave up the idea of leaving this hell a long time ago, the mortals come every day to torture me, if not to satisfy themselves, and all because Aphrodite ordered them to get the ring from me. Come on it's been 10,000 years, I try not to care, it's better to be stuck here than with them, I bet they would make things worse than the mortals.
Now that I think about it, the mortals haven't paid me a visit yet. They must be drunk outta their minds. At least that's what every mortal does nowadays.
I sigh with satisfaction and look around to see if there are any mortals near by, and just when I'm about to close my eyes, the door to my cell opens, and two handsome men walk in.
