the great race

the protagonist, Riko Yazumora, is an average 13 year old boy who doesn't have friends even though he's popular at school. He doesn't see the need for any. he lives with his mom, and his dad left them when he was young. One day, his mother gave him a strange blue pelt saying "I think you'll like this." and so his adventure began! He found himself registering for the great race. The great race is a battle royal where players must complete quests in order to clear a 100-floor tower. The first 500 players to defeat the final boss at the very top move on to round two. Watch as he clears quests, discovers teamwork, and goes on exiting adventures, as well as finds out the mystery behind the great race.
