A young girl is born in a village surrounded by dense snow. The youthful cries ring through the tent she and her parents are residing in. Throughout the mother's attempts to comfort the child the cries don't stop. Eventually, over time the babies cry reside and she stares into her mother's eyes.
Audible joy is heard from both mother and father. That is until they notice the child's golden iris. The atmosphere suddenly dies and although there is still a smile over the parents faces a sense of dread permeates.
In this silence, the young girl's mind slowly drifts back into quiet darkness as she begins to sleep.
In the darkness, the baby can hear the sound of foreign tongues too archaic to be from her parents and far too broken. Rough noises are followed by silence then once again harsh noises. Although the tongue is strenuous the ears it has a natural and comfortable feeling to the young girl.
After an undeterminable length of the archaic language, the black haze slowly fades as she awakens to the sound of an argument outside the tent.
She only manages to make out the end of the argument as she hears a male voice almost yelling, "Brenna we are cannot keep her it is against our ways!". The very second the male voice ends the vibrant voice of a lady begins, "Aos is our daughter, we will not abandon her."
The loud noise of footsteps trudging through high snow is heard as they storm off, one towards the tent while the other in another direction.
A youthful and yet mature-faced female walks into the tent and forces a smile onto her face when she notices that the young girl, Aos, is awake.
The lady who had just been called Brenna walked towards the baby and after a brief pause decides to hum a beautiful hymn of their people as the young Aos returns to sleep.
I honestly don't know how well I can write and I am just writing this for fun.
I developed a world to base a story in and I got carried away creating way too much weird and cool things that I simply had to write something.
Hopefully this story isn't too bad...
