Chapter 175: He Attracts Enemies

"They're here," Those were the words Luke told Kelvin as he came into his office and he took that as a cue to compose himself.

His supposed second in command and supervisor, Luke, had already informed him on time about the detective's visit and he practiced his role all night. 

"Let them in." He said with an authority befitting Gabriel's status Luke nodded his head in approval before leaving and returned almost immediately with two detectives trailing behind him. 

He bowed and took a step back as the detectives walked up to Kelvin and introduced themselves. 

"Good day sir, Detective Beckham at your service and this is my partner, Scott." He stretched his hand out for a handshake and Kelvin stood to wrap his hand around his. 

He shook the other one before gesturing to the seats, "Please sit." 

Both men sat down, Detective Scott already pulling out his pen and note while Beckham took the lead in the conversation.
