The Idiot's Guide to the Multiverse

Martin Harvie is a deceptively young-looking 23-year old man who gone throughout his life without proper social interaction and only played games and browsed the web on a local internet cafe. He graduated in high school as a loner and got kicked out of the orphanage with only clothes on his back right after. He felt anger and frustration bubble over until he ran away from the place, never coming back.

Five years later, he was working at a local convenience store as a clerk without customers or the manager in sight. He opened his outdated smartphone to browse the internet when he suddenly received a suspicious email saying, "Congratulations! You are the 1,000,000th visitor of the day. Please open the link to earn the chance to turn your life around!". By some unknown force, he spontaneously opened the link and in a flash of light, a surge of deathly electricity has passed throughout his body, unaware that his phone was displaying a stream of numbers until it showed a glowing 100% in the end.

He was engulfed by a flare of blue light and the next thing he knew...
