Chapter 74: Part of Your World

Amy lay next to Jim, her head resting on his arm, her leg hovering over his waist. Still high from their episodes of lovemaking, Amy closed her eyes, wishing the bliss would never end. It felt natural, being with Jim, Amy thought. She could easily forget everything and dive into oblivion. Jim was her safety net, and despite the recent scandal, Amy would rather face it all than lose him. But she will never tell Jim that. 

"Amy craned her neck to face Jim. He was lying next to her. His other hand tucked behind his head, his perfect beautiful face facing forward, but his eyes caught Amy. There was pain there, an uneasiness. Amy scooted herself to face Jim, raised her elbow, face resting on her hand.

"What?" Jim asked, his attention switched to Amy's. 

"I know this might be awkward, but who else knows? You know, about the photos?" Amy asked. "What are you planning to do about it?"
