Chapter 141: Sleeping beauty
Several days passed by quickly, yet Blair was not waking up from her slumber. Zephyr was watching the physician inject needles into her body while sitting by the bedside. He didn't see any improvement as he gazed at her pale lips and cold body.
"Your majesty" He saw the old man turn to him and he lifted his face to meet the man's eyes. "There is still no improvement, I've tried everything that I am capable of, but I'm sorry to say that she isn't responding to any of the treatments given to her"
Zephyr nodded in understanding, "You may leave" He said to him. The old man bobbed his head. He grabbed hold of all his instruments and then left the chamber.
"Till when will you remain a sleeping beauty, huh?" He silently asked the numb woman lying on the bed. He glanced at one of the maids and the woman swiftly brought a warm water bowl with a soft towel floating in it.
