Chapter 5: Chapter 4

She had read the letter leaving her with more questions than before and none of them could be answered. From her window sill she looked at her sisters sleeping peacefully. She got up and nudged both of her sisters softly to wake them up. "What's happening" Evie said sleepily. " Get up and start packing your backpacks we're going home." " Really" Mia said with excitement. " Really but be sure to pack light." She started packing her bags as fast as she could knowing they would be beaten to the brink of death if they were caught. Cameron saw Mia peeking out the door " What are you doing we need to get out of here " she whisper yelled at her as not to wake anyone up. " sorry."Mia told her. After they finished packing their bags Cameron had to quietly carry Evelyn out the door seeing as she was still injured. She carried the small girl out into the cold rainy night with Mia following behind. After getting far enough away from the orphanage the stopped to rest in the cold wet alleyway. She put Evelyn down and took her and Mia's hands " I know this might be a lot to ask for but I need you to both be strong for me we have a really long way to go before we get there and I need you both to be strong if were going to get there in one piece ok." They both nodded and they continued on their way to the train station.
