Chapter 109: Confused (3)

"Thank you," Annalise replied, taking out a somewhat green shirt for him to wear. What was she supposed to do from this point on with him standing so close to her? She could only wait for him to move. What was she to say? Was she to turn around and hand him the shirt? She would be close to Rafael if she turned around to face him.

"I thought you said facing me would not be much of a challenge. It seems you were wrong," Rafael said to help her relax. He looked down at her because of their difference in height. He could no see her face, but he knew she had to be overthinking the position they were in now. A little teasing would get her fired up. 

It must be that he had drunk something strong and didn't realise it since it could be the only explanation as to why he was suddenly so captured by the smallest thing she did. She was more strange than he placed her to be.
