Chapter 2: The Lone Gunner
The sky bled crimson, an unnerving color; a remnant of the sun that has already set.
She placed her Malefic gun down and massaged her hands that's full of calluses. She removed her sonic beam glasses and placed it beside her. She took a deep breath and took in the view in front of her.
Her world, Malefia--gone, blown to ashes by its sole source of energy-- Malefic energy.
She was the only survivor. She lost her home, her father, her solace.
And encased in her weapon, her gun, is the energy that wiped out her entire race. She vowed to use this energy to dissipate all evil that walks this world. It's the noblest thing she can do, in lieu of the tragedy that she has been through.
All she has left is her Malefic gun and herself.
