Chapter 166: The case of the lying Chu clan
A few days later
Cross woke up, he was covered in bandages and he also had handcuffs on. What was this situation? He saw a man look at him and shout "He's awake!" then another voice "Bring him out." Cross was brought out and into a courtroom.
Cross was confused, before he could even process the changes in his body from advancing into the Divine Flame Realm, he was cuffed up! What kind of celebration was this?
Cross was brought out and Long Chen and the rest were there. He stood at a podium and an old man said "Teacher Cross, you have crippled a disciple and elder of Lingxiao Academy." Cross yawned and looked at Long Chen saying "What nonsense is this old man spouting?"
Everyone almost spit out blood, the old man trembled in rage and said "You-" Cross cut him off and said "Where are the cripples? Who are they? I've crippled too many people. Do you remember every ant you step on?"
Long Chen laughed and the old man almost spat out a mouthful of blood before saying "The old man you turned limbless and Chu Kuang!" Cross looked at Chu Kuang, who had a face full of rage looking at him and Cross looked back at the old man saying "Maybe you're really too old? Which eye of yours sees that this waste is crippled? He's walking, talking, and glaring, how can he be crippled?"
The old man was stunned and Chu Kuang shouted "You crippled me! If it wasn't for my family I would be in a bed!!" Cross yawned and said "Are you in a bed now? What nonsense are you spouting? Maybe you should really be crippled? How could you cause a ruckus in here if you were? Moron."
He looked over at the elder and said "As for you, is there any evidence of my crippling you? How could I, a Divine Flame Realm handsome young man, cripple a 4 Extreme expert like yourself? Maybe you're just a waste? Or perhaps you're using me to take over the Law Enforcement Hall by raising Chu Kuang high up on a pedestal?"
Cross shook his head and broke the handcuffs on his wrists as he added "What a moron, if you let the Chu clan dig their dog paws into Lingxiao Academy any further, wouldn't the name change to Chu Academy? What's the point of this farce?"
Cross looked at the old man at the head seat and said "You're already paid off by the Chu clan, let's speed this up, shall we? You're going to punish me, I'm going to deny it, you're going to say that I offended you and attack me, I'll fight back, then you'll say that I'm resisting arrest and the rest of your lackeys will attack me."
He rolled his eyes and said "So boring. Go lick Chu Kuang's feet and move out of the way like a good dog. Even if you're strong, I guarantee that I will take you down with me." he looked around at the pale faces and said in annoyance "Are we done here? I'm hungry. Unfortunately, I don't have time to play around with dogs like you."
The old man pointed at Cross and said "You! You! You!" before spitting out a mouthful of blood, the one armed man burst out laughing and Cross said "See? If I was wrong, he would've sneered and told me I was wrong. The fact that he spat out blood means I was right and he's guilty. That old cripple over there has his nose so far up the Chu clan's ass that he doesn't even dare fart in Chu Kuang's direction."
He sneered and added "I don't care how many of you dogs come after me, honestly. I specialize in Grilled Dog Ribs. You want to blow this out of proportions, then let's blow it out of proportions. The lump of charcoal Kuang owns your pockets and it's truly a shame that you all go along with it. It seems the older you get the more your brain deteriorates."
Cross looked at Chu Kuang and said "Do you remember what I told you? Even if you beg for death, it will never come. I promise you this, every surnamed Chu I meet will die in my hands. I don't care who they are. As long as they have a connection to the Chu family, they will find themselves cultivating in Hell."
He ripped the handcuffs off his wrists and kicked the wooden gate out before walking away, the old man was so angry but the head of the Law Enforcement said "Grab Ye Ming and Chu Yishan, they will be executed." Cross moved like a ghost and punched 2 holes in Ye Ming and Chu Yishan, ripping their hearts out a crushing them before going back, whistling while wiping his hands as if it was someone else who just killed two people.
He was invisible, it only looked like Cross' figure blurred for a moment.
An old man with a scarred face shouted "Bold!" Cross looked up and said "Eh? What happened? Why did those 2 die? Strange. Maybe they couldn't handle their sins and killed themselves?" the old man with a scarred face was about to attack when the Head said "It would seem so. That's all for today then."
The old scarred man shouted "He just killed them!" Cross sighed and stretched out his wrists saying "If someone from the Chu clan speaks it must be the truth! Cuff me! I'm a sinner! The Chu clan will live forever!"
Long Chen burst out laughing and the old scarred man's face turned ugly. The head smiled and said "There's no need for that, what Chu Huairen says is naturally not the law. You may go." Cross sneered at Chu Huairen and said directly "Wash you neck, old man. Whoever scarred your face, missed. I'll finish the job soon enough." he spat on the floor and turned to leave.
The disciples were aghast but deep admiration flourished in their hearts. Long Chen walked and Chu Kuang glared at him, Long Chen slapped him saying "What are you looking at?!" he was surrounded instantly and Cross flashed over, kicking one of the people in the head and smashing him into another.
Cross stood next to Long Chen and sneered as his killing intent came out. Chu Kuang growled "I'll kill you both! I swear!" Long Chen sneered and said "Do it. I'm waiting to die. How many people have said this to me? I'm afraid the grass on their graves is old and tall. I don't hate arrogant people, but I hate people who are more arrogant than me, especially those who have no ability to be arrogant. I've decided to play with you."
He chuckled and walked away, Cross looked at Chu Kuang and said "Seems like you won't live long enough to see your clan collapse." he sighed and said "Shame. You'll just have to ask them when you see them in Hell." he shook his head and left.
The head watched them go with amusement, he actually quite liked Long Chen and Cross personalities. They were very fresh and different.
A few days later
Cross was walking around by himself, he heard an arrogant voice "Master Long Chen, you're participating in the Shinto even, therefore it is not appropriate to use your status as a Teacher to evade responsibilities."
Cross walked over and said "You there, thin gorilla boy." the kid looked over and Cross slapped him into a blood mist as he said "How's that for evading responsibilities? Now you're dead." he looked at the sneering disciple next to the blood mist. The disciple started trembling in fear and Cross said "Odd numbers aren't lucky." before slapping him into a blood mist as well.
He stopped and said "Or was it even numbers..." the rest of the disciples ran away in terror and Long Chen chuckled and said "What are you doing here?" Cross scratched his neck and said "I was bored, so I went for a walk." Luo Ning said "If you keep going on walks like this, sooner or later there won't be any disciples left..."
Cross grabbed her by the ear and said "Oi! Little girl, you think I won't spank you?" Luo Ning shouted "You dare?!" Cross did, in fact, dare and spanked her with a crisp sound. Luo Ning's face turned deep red and she clawed at Cross shouting "You wild bastard! Take responsibility!"
Cross laughed and picked her up like a pig as he looked at Long Chen saying "Where are you doing?" Long Chen ignored Luo Ning and said "Applying for a Teacher's position." Cross said "Ugh. Boring. I'll see you later then!" as he walked away, Luo Bing said "Ah! My sister!"
Cross ignored her and blurred, disappearing with Luo Ning.
A while later
Luo Ning was found tied to a fence at her residence. Long Chen and Luo Bing looked at her and she kicked the air shouting "That bastard! He must take responsibility for this! He squeezed my breast before he left too!" Long Chen laughed and untied her saying "Come inside, I have something for you both."
A couple of days later
Cross and Long Chen were standing on the stage in front of the Carefree alliance. Cross took off his robe and went with his usual black shorts and pink fluffy bunny slippers. He lit a cigarette and looked up with a sigh, his body was half naked and his Divine Void Dragon tattoo was on display.
He figured out that his cultivation technique was called 'Silence of the Abyss' not only this but it was extraordinary. Each of his Star Spaces was in the shape of a blackhole and constantly absorbed energy passively. There was also 2 Black flames burning in the middle of the blackholes, each of them! So he had 216,000 Divine Flames.
He was only at the first level of the Divine Flame Realm! There was still another 8! (Look up NSHBA Cultivation and stop asking me. You have internet and a brain, use it.)
Long Chen looked around without fluctuations and Zhong Ling said "Third Brother, give the beauties a smile. Then we'll have more sisters-in-law to play with." Cross shook his head and looked at Long Chen, who sighed and said "This isn't real love."
The girls were confused and Cross explained "My brother is saying that they are children, just like you. It's pedophilia, not very good for his image, understand?" Long Chen chuckled and said "I seem to be younger than you?" Cross sneered and said "I seem to be more handsome than you?"
Long Chen gave him the finger and turned away, Cross chuckled and Chu Kuang's group got on the stage. Cross looked over and he burst into wild laughter, Long Chen felt his mouth twitch. Mu Qingyun was confused and said "Fifth Brother, why are you laughing?"
Cross held Long Chen's shoulder and pointed at the guy with a green hat and said loudly through laughs "That guy! Hahaha! He's wearing a green hat! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Everyone was confused and Cross explained "The wife bought her husband a green hat for work. Whenever he went out to work he would wear his green hat." the entire arena was silently listening and Cross finished "The woman saw that her husband wore his green hat and every time he left, went to get nourished at the neighbors! Hahahahahaha!"
The disciples looked at the kid with a green hat and burst out laughing, the entire arena burst into wild laughter. The kid, with green eyes and a green hat, turned green to match his hat making everyone laugh even harder.
