I woke up in the abandoned building I was in when I heard Rebecca's voice, and one of her soilders, walking into the room I was in. Out of pure shock I jolted up and picked my gun up from the small table beside me. I pointed it at the door and as they walked in, they noticed me. Rebecca looked surprised and I could tell she was happy to see me but her Soilder wasn't. "Lu Lu? What the hell?!?!" Rebecca said but I didn't lower my gun. I took a deep breath and I noticed her Soilder didn't have his gun out. "Lu Lu, put down your gun... You know it's me..... " She says in an almost stern voice as she reaches out for me. I point the gun at the soilders head and I fire, and kill him. "Lucy! He was a good man!" She says in a booming voice. I look her in the eye.. "I am sick and tired of you and your stupid soilders looking for me! I don't want to be the cure..... After Ellie and Moana died from your experiments... I'm never going anywhere with you! " I try to say as calm and serious as I can but I can't help but say it loudly. Rebecca stands there for a minute and tries to think of an excuse. "Ellie and Moana were good people to!! And you just murdered them!" I say in a voice that sounds like I'm yelling. "We didn't kill them..." She lied but I believe her, I don't know why.... I saw them do it.. But the way she said it, it was so convincing and calm... I sat my gun down and I looked her in the eye.... I knew I couldn't believe it, no matter how much I wanted to... But I knew I was gonna cave... "Really? Then what happened?" I ask, my voice shaking. "Lu Lu, you know..... You know that me and my people would never do that..... You've lived with us sense you were a baby... I've taken care of you... Your mother trusted me, why can't you?" She asks in a voice that makes me feel guilty, then I started to cave.... "I do..... I trust you.... Your men, not so much..." I say. "Then why don't you give me hug, I'll take you back to the base...." She says and she starts to get a devilish smile on her face. I sigh and I look at my feet..... I look her in the eye before I quickly give her a hug, she hugs me before she lets go and takes my gun from where I set it down. She smiles and as she turns around, we hear gunshots, and a lot of them coming from outside... They sounded like they were coming closer.
Rebecca hesitantly gave me my gun... "Stay here..... No matter what..." She says as sternly as she can. "But. I can't let you go out there alone!" I say, the words feel disgusting as they come out of my mouth, how could I try to help her?.
"Lucy.... I said.. Stay here no matter what...." She says and her voice feels cold as her breath hits my face. I stand there and I can feel myself start to breath heavy..... I try to calm down but it's no use, all I can do is think about what I said, and did... How the hell could she manipulate me so easy? It was always the other way around.... It's not like I'm bad... I'm just, good at talking my way out of things.. But her, she's a devil... How? Why did my mother ever trust her? God, I hope I'm nothing like her when I grow up....
I must had been so lost in thought that almost an hour went by, everything was still and quiet... To quiet.. I looked around and I reached to open the door when I heard voices, but I only recognized one of them.... I pulled the gun up and I started to panic.... I thought but only for a split second before I backed against the wall behind the door..... Everything was still for a second before the door opened they walked in and I quickly moved behind a couple of random crates in the room.... Rebecca looked around and the man was standing beside a woman, I stayed as quiet as I could and when they weren't looking. I jumped out of nowhere and I hit the guy in the head with the back of my gun. He fell to the ground and I pointed my gun in his face. The woman out her gun to my head and there was some yelling before Rebecca put I hand on my shoulder.... "Lucy.... Their good people, put the gun down and back up....." She tried to say as nicely as she could. I looked back and I noticed she was shot I put my gun in my holster and I backed up and I started to look at it. "Are you okay? Did they do this?" I asked, completely out of curiosity. "No, we did not..... The name is Joel, this is Tessa...." Joel says as he gets up. "Now which of these boxes are we supposed to transport? " Joel asks. "None of them.... Your taking Lucy...." Rebecca says and I look at her shocked.... "There is no way in hell I would ever go with these people..." I say as I cross my arms and I look Becca in the eye... "Trust me, we arnt happy on this end either....." Joel says as he crosses his arms to. I sigh and prepare myself for the worst................
