JACK POV

Even when I was on my deathbed I have never felt so defeated as I am feeling right now. I watch as they frantically try to get Lily's heart to work again but something inside me has already given up and I just know that she is dying.

I start to cry like a little boy that is losing his mother or his family or his favorite toy. There is nothing that can describe this feeling and nothing that can take it away. If she dies today then something inside me will die with her.

I will not be able to get that something back again ever in my life. Her lifeless body jumps up in the air every few minutes but I know that there is just no hope. After they tried for at least ten times I see the doctor gives up. Then I hear the words that I never wanted to hear.

"Time of death 10:31 am"
